I know it’s a bit gimmicky to have a metal Bic, but what’s not to love about it. It looks great, everybody wants to ‘borrow’ it and it just works. It’s not too expensive for a pen that will just keep on going.

Body is metal. Sadly cap is plastic. 5⭐️

I always felt guilty using the regular BIC pen that cannot be recycled so when I saw this metal version I was really excited. It pretty much writes the same as the plastic, disposable BIC but it's obviously heavier and the refill keeps falling out. The refill has a plastic nib, whereas the original BIC has a metal nib. Also, the pen top on this new one is cheap silver plastic. They need to make the refills fit this metal pen better and replace the cheap plastic top with a silver metal one. It's not worth the money in it's current form.

If only these were around when I was back in school I used to love the bic pens

Ich kann mich gar nicht mehr daran erinnern, wenn mich die Kugelschreiber von BIC das erste Mal überzeugt haben. Wenn man sich darauf einlässt, ein Massenprodukt in Händen zu halten, das millionenfach beliebt ist, dann hat man an diesen Kulis oftmals länger Freude als an den preislich völlig überzogenen Edel-Marken. Nun auch noch den Klassiker in Metall - so banal es klingt, das sind so die kleinen Freuden des Alltags. Ich habe beim Verkäufer "excellent-drucken" bestellt, der auch direkt am Tag nach der Bestellung den nochmals zugeklebten Briefumschlag bei der Post hatte - so sagt es der Stempel. Dann hat es die Post versaut: Nach 11 Tagen Laufzeit kam ein völlig verdrückter Umschlag hier an. Der Stift samt Minen sind unversehrt, die Packung aber platt.

This is a straight up gimmick, and not even close to worth what BIC is selling this for. The body is the only metal part of this pen, and honestly it feels like plastic. The cap is plastic. They could have done a better job representing an iconic pen
