By far the best salt substitute I've tried. I've been on a low sodium diet for a few years because of blood pressure issues, and it's saved my life. It still has a little of the chemical taste if you eat a lot of it, but as a seasoning it tricks the taste buds into thinking it's salt. It is pretty pricey compared to salt, but it's the best I've found for sure.

It makes food taste good again if you are on a no salt diet!

If you're looking for some that's better for you than salt, DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. It says it taste just like salt, but it DOES NOT and it's not returnable. It doesn't even come close to tasting like salt. It's very bitter. Don't waste your money. I only gave it one star because I couldn't continue with this review without a star rating, so I give it one star for LOOKING like salt.

Was not totally impressed with the amount of flavor. Had to use a lot of it to taste. Not horrible, but not great either.

Tastes just like salt

If you have kidney failure, consult a doctor before using any salt substitute. For the rest of us, using a product like this gives you a dose of potassium, about what you would get from a banana. It's potassium salt. If you still eat salt in your diet, you may not like this stuff, because it's a little different in taste. If you are on a very strict no-salt diet, it will taste fine. I do not eat salt at all, as I can control my high blood pressure without drugs, by simply avoiding all salt. Because I never eat any salt at all, this product is a nice addition to certain foods. I also use it to bake bread. I use about half as much of My Salt as I would normally use regular salt in the recipe. The bread turns out great every time.

I’m not a big salt user. But I was told to restrict my sodium intake. The only time I really use salt is on soft boiled eggs. This was the closest to using regular table salt. I’m so glad to have it.
