This set arrived fast and was fun to build, doesn't break easily and the lego minifigures were nice too.Definitely worth the buy.

Superb toy. Great quality. Best gift for kids. Takes bit skill and patience to build. My son loved it. 2 lego figures especially R2D2 is great. Very sturdy and lasts longer.

There have been many iterations of the X-wing Starfighter over the years with it being perhaps the most iconic ship from the Star Wars franchise. As such I was very keen to add this latest one to my growing hoard of ‘collectibles’ (they’re not toys!).Construction time was roughy two hours, coincidently the running time of Episode IV, and a strong brick knowledge will have you wizz through the build in no time. The instructions were as clear as always from Lego, although it’s definitely worth using the Lego app if you haven’t tried it.The model is sturdy and would suit play purposes well if you are so inclined, again for me this is very strictly a collectible. Care must be taken with the forward landing strut which can come detached from time to time. There is some repetition in the build with the wings and laser cannons although not as much as other models in the series eg the imperial shuttle. There also several stickers which tend to divide opinion although they supplement the set well.The model features the latest versions of Lego’s firing lasers and comes with several spare shots, ample if you should run into any Tie Fighters on your travels.Included with your X-wing are four mini figures, Luke Skywalker (pilot), R2-D2, Princess Leia (spare pilot perhaps?) and General Dodonka (even more random). For the price of the kit four figures is excellent value.Overall this model is great value (for Lego) very accurately depicts the legendary X-wing Starfighter and should be a compulsory purchase for any Star Wars fan.I’m off to play with my X-Wing.

Great item. A joy to build and once completed you can see the quality that Lego is all about. A really good size and very sturdy. Just follow the instructions to the letter!

All'interno della sua scatola si trovano le buste di plastica numerate per le componenti, le istruzioni e gli stickers. La consegna è avvenuta, come previsto, in 1 giorno con Prime.Essendo una marca stranota, chi acquista Lego sa perfettamente di che si tratta. Quello che può interessare è qualche dettaglio per una scelta più consapevole. Innanzitutto, per il numero di pezzi (474) e i quattro personaggi, l'offerta del momento di Amazon a poco più di 36 euro (il prezzo oscilla dai 36 ai 50 euro) è ottima considerando che generalmente i Lego sono molto più cari al negozio.Il montaggio è durato un paio di ore per Matteo di 7 anni e mezzo, adora montare i Lego quasi più che giocarci, al termine aveva proprio la tipica espressione di soddisfazione. Assemblare i mattoncini seguendo con impegno le istruzioni, non è un gioco che può essere fatto con la fretta. Questo i bambini lo imparano ogni volta quando l’oggetto finito non è come deve essere. E allora si ricomincia da capo, con pazienza, cercando di capire l’errore e facendo il possibile per non ripeterlo.Ebbene l'astronave è studiata davvero bene, è stata molto apprezzata sia per il design realistico che per la sua giocabilità. E' abbastanza robusta e compatta, nelle mani più piccole si sente maggiormente il peso che restituisce una piacevole sensazione di consistenza. E' molto curata nei dettagli impreziositi dagli stickers, come le armi, la cabina di pilotaggio, i quattro propulsori, le ali con gli stabilizzatori che si aprono e chiudono. Ovviamente la cosa più rilevante sono tutte le parti mobili oltre alle armi dell'astronavicella: l'apertura della cabina di pilotaggio e le ali, può sembrare scontato ma per un bambino è un qualcosa di fantastico. Nel complesso è una riproduzione abbastanza fedele e curata nei dettagli del mitico X-Wing Fighter di Luke Skywalker.Sono del parere che le costruzioni stimolano il pensiero matematico ed aiutano a comprendere lo spazio, le quantità, le dimensioni, le proporzioni e la simmetria. Grazie ai mitici mattoncini sperimentano forme ed imparano a dividere e a frazionare. Lavoro manuale, immaginazione e fantasia fanno il resto.In definitiva sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Lo consiglio per tutti i giovani fan di Star Wars, appassionati della Lego e non, potrebbe essere un'idea regalo molto azzeccata.
