Covers well, looks like highlights
I have dark brown hair and my greys are actually silver and in no specific pattern (like cool streaks) so I use this and it works well. My hair is very resistant to dye in general but this works well. When I wash it it kind of drops out but this happens with me when I use regular hair dye. I've used for months now and it colours my hair in a way that looks like I have highlights so I really like it and have bought more than once.

Gives a natural shine and covers grey.
I always buy this colour conditioner. It covers grey hair so well and looks natural, smooth and shiny. I can not use colours containing chemicals and this is the most natural one I can find. I leave it on about 45 minutes and cover with a shower cap as this stops any drips and the result is a stronger colour. I apply to dry hair which is shoulder length and one bottle is ample. I reckon you could use the bottle twice for short hair. It rinses away well and does not stain the bath..just wash it away. It can mark the towel but it washes away in the washer no problem. I apply with my own nitrile gloves as the ones provided are very thin and I find it harder to apply the product. The colour stays well for about a month when washed twice a week..but fades more quickly if washed more often and for the price this is great. I apply around the hairline first. Wouldn't buy any other make again.

Brilliant stuff!
It only dropped a star because I struggled getting the lid off and it pulled off with vigor and splashed a bright orange spot on my light towel! Not a great start! But having thought I would leave it on my white/grey hair for 45 mins as recommended on the box - after 15 mins I got cold feet and washed it off - my hair was absolutely bright orange! In 15 mins! It’s really shiny and soft but I can’t quite believe how well it covered so I’m taken a back! But I used about a 1/4 of the bottle for a half head application and I just do not believe how quick and well it took!I will definitely use again and re purchase just maybe go with chestnut next time haha! Only did it today so cannot feed back how well it lasts but for cost/faint fragrance and coverage it’s brilliant!

Be careful if you only want temporary dye
I’m Ken’s wife, I used this after becoming allergic to PPD and PTD. I used bitter chocolate shade on my ash mid brown hair (approx level 5/6 in between) about 15% grey. My hair didn’t have any other colour on it previously for many months and then only semi permanent. Because I had problems before with getting the grey to take with non permanent dye I wrapped my head in plastic hat and applied heat with hair dryer as this helps non peroxide semi permanent dye take more. I was pleased with the result even though it came out darker than I thought, I would say it was between a level 4 and 3 definitely a dark brown with a slight hint of warmth. It had covered the grey but these were slightly lighter than on my non grey hair but it looked like highlights. It lasted much longer than I thought as I wasn’t expecting much for this price. However it did give me a regrowth line which I was trying to avoid as didn’t want to commit to doing roots every month. I’m not sure if this was because I added heat as usually my hair doesn’t take colour easily. I have long straight hair that’s greasy at the roots for reference. So I would recommend it but be very wary if you don’t want a permanent colour. Weeks later I can still see a line where it’s grown out so I’m not going to use it again as I feel this makes my grey which is right on the top of my head at parting, look more noticeable. I also think this isn’t conditioning as it made my greasy roots less greasy for a few days after so must have dried it out a bit. It did make my hair shiny.

Love it :)
I love this conditioner! Toned down my brassiness a lot! I recently have put my hair through a lot, I had a perm in January on my already dyed dark brown hair, then me being me got fed up, so I decided to lighten my hair nearer to my natural colour which is really like a grey/brown/blonde (dirty blonde) or at least light enough for me to grow my own hair out. I chose this as I didn’t want to actually dye my hair again with a permanent colour I had already put it through enough. I got the ash blonde and I also bought cafe latte. I used the ash blonde first then after a few weeks (today) I added 1 part of the cafe latte to 2 parts ash blonde to get it a little darker and tbh my hair is feeling much better already and the colours are beautiful. I’ll put my hair before in the pictures, after the ash blonde (straight hair) and after the cafe latte and ash blonde (curled hair) I would recommend these conditioners :) I’m definitely going to keep purchasing to keep on top of it and the good thing is it’s your own custom colour as can’t always get the colour you want with permanent dyes. I left it on my hair the first time around half hour on damp hair and the second time I only left the mixture of the 2 colours on for around 10 mins :) impressed

Lovely ash shade which blends grey.
The light brown shade #30 is a cool, ash shade with no red tones and not too dark. A rare find!I use it on light, mousy-brown hair which is about 5% grey. Don’t be put off by the khaki colour when it comes out of the bottle.I apply the colour to my roots on dry hair with a bowl and brush. After application I give it a spritz to keep it wet, wrap it in cling film, leave it on for an hour, then rinse. My stubborn grey hairs (especially at my temples) go a nice blonde shade which blends nicely with the rest of my hair. This product is very good quality and does not dry my hair out. It also does not irritate my eyes, nose or throat which most other brands do.As can be seen from some of the other reviews, this shade is probably not going to be suitable for direct application to bleached hair. The cool pigments may give a greenish hue - so best to seek professional advice if you’re not sure.
