I will likely revisit this review and change it after some research, but for now, I haven't been able to get this to work. I ordered the MEGA BAR RGBA and the Amazon page showed it grouped together with this remote. With that I figure it's the one I need.The light bar and this remote do not have any instructions for using the remote. I think it would be very easy to include basic instructions on set up and operation. The remote came with a single card with hard plastic connected to it. Nice print on the card but no instructions.As with the light bar, it has all kinds of way to make it do tricks, but nothing about using a remote with it unless I missed something.I'll write more later.So, after going through the MEGA BAR manual again I found the instructions for this remote on page 10. Instead of 'remote' it's call RFC.I could stand several feet away and change programs and lighting choices. Good product!After setting three light bars up in our church today I am very pleased with how they work with the remote.I purchased 3 foot cords that connects the all together from one plugin. With this remote I can change all there bars at the same time as well as turn them off and on.

I edit video all day long, and so I bought the ADJ Mega Bar RGBA for my desk, but it was a pain in the ass unplugging it before leaving every single day. Enter this wireless remote. Now I can wirelessly change the settings of my Mega Bar without unplugging it, as well as change the other settings if I want to. The remote itself is large enough to not get lost on my desk, but the buttons are a bit finnicky sometimes. The options and functions on the remote take practice to learn, and aren't very intuitively built, but that's why I'm a video editor and not a lighting engineer. Bottom line: it does what I wanted it to do, which is turn on and off the Mega Bar with ease.

I gave it 5-stars because it performed just like advertised, arrived within the prescribed period and was well packaged. I strongly recommend if buying ADJ products that use a handheld remote that you research your product for the proper remote .. some people are buying the wrong remote for the wrong ADJ-product. This item came from PSSL ProSound And Stage Lighting and I had a question about the product. I called, immediately got a tech and he politely answered my question. This remote has slim information regarding its operation at the ADJ site regarding the manual and use .. if your new to this kind of stuff like I am, ADJ was more than helpful. PSSL answered my question regarding the "W/A" button which controls "white" and "amber" which is a feature my Jelly Par system does not have. Other than that, this is the right remote for the right system. Thanx to ADJ, PSSL and Amazon for their help and support.

This remote works much better than the older ADJ remote. Using this just to control Ultrabar 6 right now, but it allows for a much wider range/distance (even if you don't extend the antenna) and its easy to switch between programs, pre-programmed color and the manual RGB customization. I wish it also controlled my older Flat Par 7s, but it doesn't.

Very affordable. Works in close range MOST of the time. However over a distance it becomes a problem. Some of the lights pick up the signal while others won't. The end result isn't pretty when you are trying to have the lights work in unison. I had to go and manually set the lights in the middle of two different events.I want to clarify that I already had this remote from a different retailer that did the same thing. You get what you pay for. If there was, or is a stronger remote, I would definitely consider that one before purchasing another one of these.

Other than having to go buy the 3 dollar battery I think this remote is pretty damn handy if you’re running lights without a DMX controller.

If you know how to use it - its perfect for small parties, birthday, or lighting your DJ booth. I have gotten response from across a large room in some cases....and I run 12 Mega Go Floods with these ( I have 3 of them ) and I love them. SO much better than the remote the old AMDJs came with.

Not all the button work all the time. Not sure why, but it will be working great and then all of a sudden it will stop working. Then after a few minutes it will work again. I know that it's not due to the distance because I will bring the remote right up to the unit and it still won't work.

Using this remote with the ADJ Ultra bar 12s is a great little tool. It takes a while to get used to it, as its functions work more like the buttons on the side of the unit rather than a fully fledged DMX controller, but considering these lights have so many features it's great that the remote can set up most of them.All you have to do on the ultra bars is flick through to auto on the unit and then select RF On. This will now work in all modes, even if you have everything DMXed and want to quickly take over and blackout or change colour without scrolling through the DMX. The remote seems to have a really good range, I have tested it across the length of a sports hall, and even works if you just activate the rf in one light and set the others to slave.

I bought this to operate my ADJ Ultra Hex Par3's wirelessly and this remote seems to work ok, just as long as you're not standing too far away. I usually operate all of my Par Cans via Chauvet ShowXpress DMX software for larger events and venues, but some smaller venues just require a single colour, or a simple colour fade, so this is where this remote comes in useful. It's easy enough to operate once you've familiarized yourself with the various settings of your par cans.Recommended.

Ich habe den RFC Controller von ADJ gekauft und möchte ihn mit meinen Led Bars von ADJ Ultrabar 9 ansteuern .Ich bin der Anleitung gefolgt und habe in der Bar die Fernbedienung aktiviert . Auch das Plastik Teil aus der Fernbedienung habe ich entfernt damit die Batterie den Strom frei gibt. Das rote Lämpchen leuchtet auch wenn man nun eine Taste drückt. Nur leider reagiert die BAR nicht. Ich habe auch schon mehrere andere probiert, auch hier passiert wenn man die Fernbedienung drückt, leider nichts.Heißt ich habe eine original Fernbedienung die "angeblich" zu meinen originalen ADJ Ultrabar 9 kompatibel sind und es geht nichts!!Somit leider Schrott!! Bin echt sauer.American DJ Support hat mir auf meine Anfrage auch nur die Anleitung (die ich ja bereits selber in mehrfacher Ausführung besitze) zugesendet.Sehr sehr enttäuschend.
