My toddler loves these water bottles. They are a great size super cute designs and the design allows for small hands to carry the bottle themselves. Do make sure you have the straw seated properly.

I was initially excited to receive this item because of the fun prints. However, when I opened the bottle, I immediately knew there was going to be a problem as the straw is way too short. There is a good 1/2 inch space between the bottom of the straw and the bottom of the bottle. I suspect that this is also the reason that when you are using the bottle, liquid comes back up through the top, and gushes out, making a mess everywhere. Sort of defeats the purpose of a "leak proof," bottle.Patterns are cute, but look elsewhere.

These cups are the worst. They leak like sieves and it doesn’t matter if you keep the lid closed or open. In fact, closing the lid is almost worse. When the lid is closed, the cup builds vacuum pressure and syphons the liquid to the well that the spigot folds down into, so not only is there a teaspoon or more of liquid there when you pick it up that leaks out, but when you open the spigot to drink, the cup burps out another teaspoon or more of liquid from the hole in the spigot. A couple teaspoons may not seem like a lot but when you’ve got two toddlers taking drinks every few minutes this makes for lots of splashes and spills and sticky hands, cups and surfaces. These cups suck.
