Enjoyable build, well detailed too
Note this model is aimed at 14+ age and not really suitable for someone younger without supervision. If you have not done one of these major Lego models before, take a few moments to look at the instructions to first familiarise yourself with the iconography. It is straight forward but worth taking the time. After that you should have no problems. It is pleasing to see how the model builds from the inside out and gradually reveals itself in full glory.Be aware the completed Saturn V is over a metre tall, so think about where you want to finally display it! (Though you can always break it back down and build it again at another time!).Have to build the Shuttle and Hubble next!

This is the best thing I've bought all year!!
I figured that by combining two of my loves, which are Lego and NASA, there would be no going wrong with this and I was right. Makes a fantastic “statement piece” and is a seriously impressive size as well. The designers have done such a great job that, from a few paces back, it gets hard to tell that it's actually Lego and not just a model. The packaging and booklet are equally nicely thought out and it was so satisfying to build. Also has some really lovely bonus features like the mini lunar module (that can fit inside the 3rd stage) and an excellent little command module in post-splashdown configuration.Only real problem with this purchase is that it has ignited a bit of a need in me for more NASA Lego and I’ve ended up buying the larger Lunar Module and the ISS as well. Plus I had to get a decent sized display case to put it in... Could get to be an expensive habit!

Saturn V Lego
This is a decent Lego build for children and adults alike. It wasn't too challenging - so accessible to most people I'd say. I enjoyed how the kit came in 12 different bags which allowed you to pace yourself without fearing that you might accidentally loose a piece.I also enjoyed that the different sections were able to come apart just like the stages of the actual rocket. Finally, I liked the small custom Astronauts, and the details on the Moon Lander and Command Module. One very small complaint. One piece was missing (I suspect that another piece of equal weight was included in the pack by mistake). This meant that I was unable to connect a part of the exterior properly. This was a first for me (with decades of Lego experience) and I made sure I opened the bag and decanted the contents properly. However after rechecking everything (and the floor) I went on the Lego Website who then sent me out a replacement piece. All in all, very fun and I would definitely recommend

Worth the money
I debated getting this for my husband for Christmas for ages. It’s expensive (what Lego isn’t) and I wasn’t sure where it would go when built because it’s really big. However, my husband loved it and it’s being retired soon so I’m glad I went for it. It’s classic Lego - great instructions, lots of fun to build. It has little stands to put it on. Because of the size and what it is, it’s a real display piece. I’ve seen purpose made/3D printed shelves/wall mounts online so think we’ll buy some of these which obv adds to overall price but it looks great so will look fab on the wall, would recommend you googling these as well!

Simply Brilliant
If you love LEGO and like me getting back into it at...cough...50 something and love Space stuff then this is for you. Yes it's not cheap and Yes you can get a replica of it from a certain country for 1/4 the price (without official box) but you have to remember the LEGO engineers and designers who sat down and thought "How can we do this"? and then figured it out.You can see their thinking when building this and you complete a section and go "What? Who thought of that"?This isn't a 3 foot 3 inch high tube of bricks. It's a solid multi stage build that I loved every minute of so much I've ordered the Space Shuttle from LEGO (haven't told wifey yet...yikes).Take your time, pour a drink maybe and enjoy it.

Absolutely brilliant - simple as that
As an Apollo geek, I suppose I was always going to like this, so maybe this is a biased review. But I thought this kit was superb. My family of 4 built it as a 'team', which maybe mitigated some of the 'repeat 4 times' boredom other people have complained about. The result is a thing of beauty. For added geek value, I recommend the Saturn V "Haynes Manual" as well, which has more information than you could possibly imagine about how they designed and built it - I found it a very interesting companion to the Lego build.
