There are a mixture of past reviews, product description, and answered questions from the official seller that make it unclear if the 15-16" version of this product actually fits the 2021 16" MBP form factor. I can confirm the description is correct and it fits perfectly. Apple lists the official dimensions as identical between the 16" versions of the 2021 and 2023 model so that should fit if you have a 2023 as well. Overall, the quality is better than expected. The shell is pretty hard and resistant to a moderate amount of force. Interior cushion is supportive and seems like it would absorb a little bit of shock but nothing extreme. It isn't going to prevent strong forces or much torque/twisting but I'd say it will help with light amounts. This will probably do fine in an overhead plane storage bin in some other bag/luggage as long as something hefty isn't placed atop it. I bought this to protect my laptop when unused from light pet scratches, light spills, and small accidents and I would say it will easily fill this need. I also figured I may throw it in my carryon occasionally when traveling. The handle is pretty secure and it feels solid even with my 16" MBP inside although it has some heft at that point. It's definitely on the thin side in terms of internal storage space so I wouldn't try fitting much more than something like a 2021/2023 MBP profile inside. Wrist safety strap seems pretty secure. For smaller cases/laptops you could probably use this to some degree as a handle but I wouldn't. There's a small adjustable slide on the strap that works quite well at securing the wrist strap to the wrist without being uncomfortable and providing that extra layer of drop protection. Worth the price and I'd recommend this case. It's brand new so no idea about longevity but not many places for it to fail that I can see besides the zippers which they've used premium zippers for. Pictures are for the "deep blue" option which seemed lighter in person than depicted which I am pleased with.

Keeps my MacBook Pro 14inch safe. Fits in a backpack perfectly. Very high quality and durable material, I’d say it’s not too bulky but I’d rather have it that way since it keeps my laptop protected. The design is very minimalistic, and I love that. Very good for college students like myself. Good product!

I’ve been using the Fin Pac Hard Laptop Sleeve Case for a few days now, and I’m really impressed with it. The fit is perfect for my 2021 M1 MacBook Pro A2338—it fits like a glove. I purchased the size recommended in the product description, for my laptop model. It is too large. Only the pocket, in the case, keeps my laptop from sliding around inside the case. Debating trying again with a smaller version or might try to add an additional inch of padding to the edges of this case. Otherwise, the case seems well made for what it is. It would probably protect against a short drop, or similar shock. But, It does not look like it would provide much, if any, protection against crushing forces-- e.g., someone places a heavy bag on top of yours.

First of all, I think its a quality laptop sleeve. Just that I'm not able to comfortably insert my 5th gen iPad 12.9 with magic keyboard in the elastic Lycra pouch. I just feel it might tear after awhile. I place it on the other side with the hexagon shaped padding.

Nice & Tough with Double Zip

Quality case, sturdy, offers adequate protection. The plastic smell is a little intrusive for the first few weeks. Airing it for a couple of days outside on the balcony helps, better if in direct sunlight. It was the only laptop case of this type that I could find to fit a 15" MacBook Air.
