If you’re looking for a used Thinkpad, this one is perfect. I needed a new laptop to run VMs for class and surprisingly this came with 32gb of RAM instead of 16gb, so it’s perfect! It came out of the box looking almost new. It does come with an adapter as well so no need to buy a charger.

This Lenovo ThinkPad T490s i7-8665U @ 1.90 GHz, 16 GB RAM that I got is upgradable to Windows 11 pro. Everything works after the upgrade, even the fingerprint reader and the trackpad. The RAM is soldered to the motherboard so it's not upgradable but the SSD is not so that's good. It does have an extra double-sided M.2 slot that you can use to add a second SSD. The screen is touch. It doesn't have an SD card slot. It has a backlit keyboard. The battery it came with is great and holds a charge for at least 5 hours. I'm very satisfied with this Lenovo laptop.

The laptop battery was completely dead. Even the internal clock would lose track because there was literally no electricity left in the battery. Also I ordered one with 16gb of ram and they sent one with 32gb of ram.

A very good value for the money. Actually came with 32gb memory (not useful to me); the rest of the specs is accurate. Battery is original and arrived with about 20 cycles, is holding up well (2+ hours of use per charge) after several weeks. I'm running Rocky Linux 9.1 on it. Lenovo quality shines in this laptop.

The laptop was exactly as expected. Would have been nice if there was a factory box and owner manual. This should maybe have been sold a used because of the above.
