WSB Tackle Crab Drop Net

I got this as I wanted to do some crab fishing.I also had another brand of crab net and was not as good as this one.The length on this crab line was great and is very long. Also the bait holder at the bottom is very good. It's like a little spring which is very tight and squid can be tightly secured underneath for example.Maybe the only flaw is that it's not that heavily weighted. Obviously a weight can be put inside or attached to the bottom. The net is strong and I'm sure will last along time. II will update after my second fishing trip which will hopefully be this week coming.All-round a great buy and very happy and will be using a lot more.Very happy.

Very very pleased with this net. My son has loved spending time outdoors catching his little fish in the stream as well as crabbing.Very good price and good quality. They netting seems to be strong and does the job exactly as it should.Delivery quick and painless. Highly recommended

This is a great little net for the price, I got it to use for fishing off Worthing pier to catch small soft crabs for bait, just put a bit of gammon in the bait clip on the bottom of the net & your set to go... Works fine.I have also used this net to land small fish before they get off the hook & it worked just as well for that....In all, for the money your not going to get any better...

It's a lot smaller, height and ring diameter wise, than I was expecting, but that's my mistake for not having checked the specs properly. What you've got, when it's fully expanded, is a receptacle about the size of a standard kitchen mixing-bowl.The net has a weird fixed plastic disc in the bottom - you don't see this in the listing pic - that's really cumbersome. This weights the net and I think is also where you're suppose to fit the bait as it has a spring attached. This plastic round is also what holds the net together at the bottom end. Problem is, it's so chunky that even when the net is deliberately laid-flat by hand on a coffee table, the plastic part stands proud of the net - on top of all these folds of cloth mesh that seem like they'd get in the way.I'm not sure we'll be able to catch many crabs in this thing but it was cheap and I guess it'll be fun trying. It was delivered swiftly, at any rate.

Kids used these on our holiday in Mersea and out caught everyone else fishing for shore crabs from the pier. Quick delivery!! The two hoops are metal which helps the net stay flat on the bottom when fishing. This aids the crabs getting into the nets.

Too small to be of any real use for anything other than crabs fishing.

These are the best crab nets, the metal rings at the top and midway of the net mean it all lies flat on the bottom so the crabs go into the net rather than trying to get the bait from underneath. Paid £3.75 with free delivery which is great, these are definitely better than the normal ones you get on the sea front - which don't have the metal rings to weight it down.

Fantastic net. Went crabbing today with my 4 boy's. Caught fish, crabs and shrimp. I tried to put too much bait under the spring and it broke off so be careful when using it. Still works but annoyed that I broke it. Amazing product
