I really like this Paula's Choice facial cleanser! I have been using the Image Skincare Ormedic Balancing Facial Cleanser since my beautician recommended it, and I found it was cheaper here on Amazon than buying it from her salon. Now the price of that cleanser has gone up considerably, so I needed to make a change. I also tried the Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Facial Cleanser. It's fine, but it's also over $4 per ounce. I wanted a "balancing" cleanser, which means it takes out the oil and puts in a little moisture. So, I tried this Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing facial cleanser. It is wonderful! I like it better than both the Image cleanser and the Clarisonic cleanser. Paula's facial cleanser comes out thick and white, and I don't use too much, and it creates enough lather. The plastic top of the bottle pops up and you squeeze out a little. I use this cleanser on the Clarisonic Mia2 facial brush, two times per day. My face feels really clean, but not dried out. Paula's is more than half the price of the Image cleanser, and I like the way my face feels better with Paula's. This 16 oz. bottle will surely last at least 2 months, maybe longer. I had never heard of Paula's before I did the Amazon search. I am now a Paula's fan. Note: this is going to last 3 months or more. I have added a photo to show you this is a nice-sized bottle. It's large, but not too big or heavy to use comfortably. This cleanser rinses off easily, and also rinses easily out of the Clarisonic facial brush. Update: I just reordered, so this bottle lasted 2 months one week.

Es excelente, limpias piel del rostro sin dejarla seca, con una pequeña cantidad de producto es suficiente para toda la zona. No tiene aroma.

I don't buy this for the oil controlling advertisement. It takes off all makeup including my mascara very well and that's what matters to me. I'm so surprised this feature is not advertised in the ad. A little also goes a long way so this lasts me months. You will probably need a moisturizer after this if you are not plagued by oily skin, but I'm fine with that. I don't consider it excessively stripping to the skin either or I wouldn't be able to stand it. Every time I try another cheaper product, I keep coming back to this one. It will sting the eyes so you have to be mindful when using it. They can do much better on the cap, however. When you get to the last 25% of the bottle, it's a real pain to get it out. Why isn't this in a pump with a straw that goes ALL the way to the bottom?

I used to have super-oily, sensitive, acne-dominated face. I have literally used ALL the so-called DERMATOLOGIST products that exist in the market today. Non of them worked. They actually left my skin more oily. This product was different though. Flagrance Free. Not Harsh. Doesn't Leave your SKin Dry. Leave your skin unoily. PERSOANL ADVICE FOR PEOPLE GETTING ACNES 1. use this cleanser 2. use the toner of the same line(with your hand. don't use cottons as they could be too harsh for sensitive skin) 3. If you feel moistened enough don't apply extra products. If your skin is still dry, apply lotion of the same line. But only minimal amount. 4. Definitely use the BHA product as it will get rid of all the acnes in your face. + lessen the oilyness p.s. if you are still getting acnes on your face, it is most likely due to your "stomach" of bad health condition. This might sound crazy, but do some stomach excercise and loosen all the stress on your stomach. Do some research on your own on the relationsihp between stomch(all the tightened up stressed out intenstines inside) and your skin or actually overall body condition. I have been doing few stomach excercises for just about 15 minutes a day for two months now (of course, kept using the same facial product lines), I can see a VISIBLE difference. From acne dominated face, I only have one or none popping up every two weeks or so. I suffered so much from ACNE + SUPEROILY FACE for more than few years now. Never seen my face looking healthier than ever. I just wanted share :D

I have very, very oily skin (as does my husband). Over the years we have tried many different cleansers, but hands down this the very best we have used -- and we've been using it exclusively for the last 7 years. So why do I like this so much? It cleans without stripping the skin. It very definitely removes the oil, but my skin does not feel tight -- just nice and soft. No fragrance. I don't like anything scented on my face, not to mention skipping the extra chemicals that come with fragrance. It doesn't take much to clean. About a nickle-sized amount about is enough to clean my face. Texture -- the cream-to-foam makes it nice and light. Rinses off easily. I generally get the 16-ounce size, and it lasts about 7 to 8 weeks, with both my husband and I using it twice a day. Sure, it's a bit on the expensive side, but it cleanses well and is gentle on the skin.
