This product works great to put red highlights in my blonde hair. Super easy application. As most temporary color with blondes, this did last a few washes before it fully came out, but I always expect that since my hair is so light to start with.

I bought this product for my 4-year-old to add a little spooky sparkle to her Halloween look. The packaging confidently claimed: “Washes out in one shampoo!” Reader, it did not. We are now on wash number six, and my child’s hair remains aggressively, unapologetically pink. I’ve used clarifying shampoo, conditioner, and possibly my tears — nothing. The color hasn’t faded so much as dug in deeper. On the plus side, my daughter believes she’s a real-life fairy princess now, so she’s thrilled. I, however, have accepted that she may enter kindergarten with “permanent pastel punk” as her brand. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for durability. ⭐️ for truth in advertising. Would recommend if you hate commitment but love irony.

I recently purchased the Shade Stix Blue from Hally Hair, and I have to say, I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase! The product is relatively easy to use. Thats nice. But I wanted purple and got periwinkle blue / lavender mix. Its not very bright either. And it is hair dye. It will stain your hands as an FYI. Its not a complete waste of money but I won't be buying it again.

I ordered this for my 12yr old to temporarily color his bangs and the color saturation is great! Granted, he put ALOT on his hair, kinda like a teenage girl with too much eyeshadow, he didn't know when to stop, but it was definitely blue. This blue is more of an aqua blue than a dark blue. His hair is a dark strawberry blonde and the coverage and saturation was great. It took quite a few dips and strokes to completely cover his color, but it did cover it. It dries nicely and doesn't leave the hair so stiff that it can't be brushed out with the color still remaining. This is one of the best temporary colors we've tried as far as color saturation and non-stiffness. Now the problem: It will stain your hands and skin! We had to use bleach water to get it off of his hands and face. Even after it dries, it will still rub off and stain your skin. He slept with it on and looked a bit like a smurf when he woke up. Even his pillowcase was blue. It washed out of his hair great when he showered, but his skin still had a blue tinge. I haven't tried to wash the pillowcase yet so we will see how that goes.

This temporary hair color worked surprisingly well for me. The color went on evenly, and after shampooing it faded gradually instead of streaking. My hair felt soft afterward no dryness or damage. It is perfect if you want to try a fun new color for a day or special occasion without commitment. Easy to apply, easy to wash out a nice, low-risk way to switch up your look

It “stained” EVERYTHING it touched - skin, shirt, pillowcase, all of it. Significantly worse as soon as you sweat to any degree. However, I put stained in quotes because it did wash out easily from everything, including the hair. We bought to use a few days but opted to stop using it after day 1 because it got everywhere. It did look really good and was easy application though!

I bought this for my daughter’s beach soccer tournament, and it was such a hit! The color was vibrant, fun, and totally kid-friendly. It went on easily and washed out just as promised—no mess, no staining. She loved the temporary flair and it stayed in through the whole day of sun, sweat, and sand. Definitely a great way to add some personality without the commitment. We’ll be buying more for future events!

I bought this for my 10 year old who has stated to want to dye their hair. I admit I let them loose with it and gave little to no supervision. They were disappointed with the result and it was quite messy.
