It has a wonderful soapy melancholic scent. One of the best hydrating creams I’ve used. You really don’t need to spend a lot, the Silky cream is great, for moderate dry skin and also for severely dehydrated skin. It really does give a silky feel. Makes perfumes last more also.

This is by far the best moisturiser I have ever used, after wasting time trying out and testing other moisturisers. The texture is not too thick, it absorbs well and locks in moisture and best of all, it's not greasy. The smell is heavenly and leaves a light lovely scent. I used it religiously on my tummy throughout both my pregnancies and continued using it after having my children. Because it locks in the moisture so well, I believe this is the reason why I have no stretchmarks at all. I did try other overrrated "coconut oil" moisturisers but they're oily and made my skin itchy. Recently I found out that a pharmacy chain has stopped selling these. Unbelievable.

Love the product but one of the pots had cracked in transit. No big deal and still usable because the seal hadn’t been broken

I bought a tub of this Dove cream whilst in Tenerife in December from a local supermarket. I used it every day for my ten week stay. I absolutely love it. For reasons I cannot fathom I could not purchase a replacement here in the UK from outlets such as Boots, Super Drug etc., and so have just bought 2 tubs via Amazon. It is rich and nourishing and absorbs easily - leaving my skin soft and silky. When I am halfway down my second tub I shall order more. I have paid silly money for body cream in the past which have been nowhere near as good as this.

This is the best cream ever and if Dove stop producing it, they want their brains tested and I shall be very upset. I am pleased I can still get it through Amazon as I can't get it locally any more, so I suspect it is being phased out in favour of a new cream packaged in a similar tub, but with a beige or mauve lid. These are NOT the same and are far too smelly and greaser. The reason why body silk is so lovely is its very slight fragrance and soothing, non greasy cream. It is good for eczma and itchy skin and dry skin. It is a lovely product.

Lovely smooth cream, easy to apply

This is the best cream I have ever used on my skin. I am mid 50s and have been using this cream for the last 15 years. People always comment on how dewy my skin is and I swear it is this fab cream. First I used the regular tub, then they introduced the silky one, and it is just perfect. Light fragrance but doesn't trigger my sensitive skin unlike many others.

Not bad as a moisturiser but once applied it smells awful as if expired, and I can't find an expiry date on it
