weird menthol, older tube
The box had 3 sets of labels on which got me curious of what was going on with this toothpaste. The insert says it's good 36 months from date of manufacture and the tube expires January 2025, a mere 6 months away. It was released on Amz Nov 2022, so this tube was made 10 months before the release on US Amz, which would be fine if I bought it back then. But something tell me this is not a popular item...I was excited to try it for the green coffee and silver in it. It doesn't have much taste at first then you notice the menthol... and it's a light version of the "rub to open your sinuses" type menthol, not one you want to taste which does explain why it's not popular. It doesn't foam much, but that's as most natural do not contain fake foaming agents in them.So I'll try to use this tube, but I am not planning a repurchase based on this... it would have to work some major miracles to overcome the dates and menthol taste for me to spend another $15 for a tube of toothpaste.

This tastes weird!
The title says it all.... This toothpaste tastes really weird. I tried to use it anyway to see how it worked for my teeth, but I just could not make myself use it more than twice. I'll stick to my regular toothpaste.

Not a bad taste, but unusual
I'm not convinced this works a whole lot better than just using a naked toothbrush, without any toothpaste on it. There's no grit in this paste at all. It's just smooth and creamy. There's also no fluoride in it, so there's no benefit from that, either. The flavor of the Fermented Green Coffee Extract is...curious. It's not a flavor I'm at all used to. It's not bad, but I wouldn't call it "great" by any means, either. I like it, but I have to remind myself that I like it every time I go to use the product. If you are looking for a toothpaste that doesn't have fluoride, and doesn't have any grit, (and I know there are people who match both of those profiles), then this is a great product for you. If you're looking for a traditional toothpaste that gives you fluoride protection and a compound to help clean your teeth, then this might not be the right place to look.

Herbal taste; left teeth feeling clean
This toothpaste from Abera is great if you don't mind a very herbal taste. I am used to herbal-tasting kinds of toothpaste and would compare this to a citrus-coffee herbal taste. It's not bad but people who are picky eaters and sensitive to smells and tastes may not like it. For me, this is quite pleasant.I did notice my mouth felt more clean compared to the generic store toothpaste I typically use. My mouth feels tingly for a few minutes afterwards but my teeth do look whiter after two weeks so I think this does a great job at cleaning without fluoride.I think overall, this is quite a nice toothpaste with a unique flavour. I like it quite a bit and would be interested in trying any other flavours Abera decides to release as they are a premium Vietnamese brand. :)
