Great stripping set
This set of stripping tools is great. We have two wirehair dogs and this helped tremendously. There are several different size pieces and they do as they say. The are made nicely and seem sturdy. The are comfortable to hold/use. They are not heavy or light. The instruction of what each tool is used for if you are not a pro like us is on the box and that’s my only complaint is I wish there was something on inside of the very nice carrier it comes it. Overall great set.

Great set I totally recommend this if you have a dog that sheds
This Works Great! My dog has a really bad problem with shedding and this set works wonders for keeping the hair from falling out all over the house he is a white haired with black spots so all I see is the white hair all over the place when I use the set it pulls out all of the loose hair and keeps his hair nice it’s a must have set worth the money the blades were a little bit sharp but I filed them down and they are fine they had little sharp spots on them you can smooth out with a file

Work very well even for my amateur self.
Although a professional dog groomer for many decades, I never hand stripped any of my terrier clients. I either used a clipper set or my wife, who showed terriers and so knew how to do it. Since her passing however, I needed to learn the art of hand stripping and I found this blade set and started in on my Airedale puppy. Using this blade set and you tube videos (along with my memory of watching my wife) I have what I am pleasantly surprised to admit is a 6 month old Airedale that looks pretty good. I know it isn’t me that got him that way so I can only assume it is this knife set. Therefore I’m giving it a very good review. I think that for the money it is a fine investment. I know that I’m very pleased with mine.

Works great!!
First thing, I’m not a groomer, just an Oorang Airedale owner who is like 8 hours away from the nearest groomer who does hand-stripping. Picture 1 is before on her back, pic 2 you can see her side is “in process”, pic 3 is after on her back. Second, these tools took way longer to come in than originally estimated (I’m talking like add an extra two weeks). These were the perfect size for my hands, but I’m a woman with average sized hands. They are very high quality, and sharp. They clean easy, and I thought they worked great. I did a lot of YouTube video watching to get the hand motions correct, so if you are doing this to save money you need to do the same thing. Hand stripping is a LONG process on my dog, who is 70 lbs, so consider if your dog can take that. But the amount of hair you get off will astound you. I promise. My dog is definitely happy to not have the extra fur weighing her down during summer, and this is a healthy process for wire-haired breeds. Very similar to sheep that have to be sheared because they can’t shed the hair naturally. Can’t wait to do it again in a couple of months!

Must have for groomers who want to card out coat or hand strip.
Very comfortable for carding out excessive undercoat. They are definitely a tool that requires you to have some knowledge prior to use, but if you’re a dog groomer these are a must have. A lot of my groomer friends won’t card out excessive coat, and said it would be a waste of time and $. However, I feel that these are insanely useful! Especially for hormonal changes to the coat. I use them several times a week and my clients notice the difference. The coat comes back much slower than just shaving it off. Definitely worth every penny I spent. I clean them with a little bit of alcohol or chlorhexidine depending on how funky they get. The fact they are predulled is a life saver and makes carding or stripping so much easier.

Fantastic. Buy this set if you need to strip a wire coat dog
Ok, so I’m pretty good with grooming and nails but I’ve never had a rough coat dog that needs stripping. I didn’t even know I needed to until my little terrier started looking super shaggy. Did some research and ordered these stripping knives. I got them today and they are unbelievable! Nice quality and they work great. I was nervous at first but I followed a great YouTube tutorial on terriers and bam! My dog looks pretty good for a first time. I added a before. And after photo. Don’t be scared you can do this and your dog will look great! I highly recommend this set. It’s everything you need at a great price all in a handy organizer.
