MEIKE MK-P-AF3A Macro Extension Tube Fit Panasonic/Olympus GF5 GF6 GM1 GM5 GX1 GX7 G3 E-P5 E-PM E-M1 E-M5 E-M10 E-PL5 E-PL6 E-PL7 Mirrorless Camera

I bought these Meike P-AF3A extension tubes and they arrived in a couple of days. I opened the box and was pleased how good they look. They are well made and have a nice finish. I first fitted the smaller tube 10 mm to my Lumix G7 micro 43rds camera and it connected with a reassuring gentle 'click'. There was no stiffness and no movement when I twisted them from side to side. I took the 16mm tube and it fitted in the same way, perfect. I then fitted my lens and went into the garden to take a few shots, they worked as they should, I could get nice and close even to a small spider that I could hardly see with my naked eyes, I could see he was having his breakfast on a tiny fly.All the features of the Lumix G7 worked as they did without the extenders fitted, focus, burst mode even 4k Post Focus worked thus alleviating any worries I previously had.I would definitely recommend these Meike extension tubes to any one with the G7 and have no doubt they would work just as well with other cameras if you choose the correct version

Not had chance to use these yet but have fitted them to my camera/lens and they fit very nicely, not loose as some reviewers have reported. The tubes do look very well made for the money.When I ordered these I added Polaroid body and lens caps to fit on the extension tubes (to keep them clean) when not in use. However, on receipt these MEIKE extension tubes ARE supplied fith one each of body and lens caps, so the Polaroid versions aren't required and are on their way back to Amazon for a refund.

Bought for my son who wants to experiment with macro and I didn't want to break the bank. These are a good fit, the AF works flawlessly and they were delivered quickly. Very impressed and would highly recommend.The photo of the wasp was taken with the 10mm tube on a Panasonic GH2 and 14-42mm 'kit' lens.

So it does what it's supposed to.. although a decent construction and durable I'm slightly worried that the brushed metal at the connection will damage my camera/lenses with frequent use.I knew this was a possibility, hence going for the name brand as opposed to cheaper listings, but it is what it is!

After seeing someone raving about these on YouTube I thought I might treat myself, I wish I hadn’t bothered.I tried all different settings on my Olympus camera from automatic to manual without success. The images were only in focus in the middle despite using f16, giving it loads of depth of field. I tried image fringing, magnifying, everything to get it to function properly, nothing was a success so I gave up trying, it wasn’t worth the effort. Mine was returned immediately.

I've amended my review rating from 3 to 4-Stars after some trial and user error. This rating is based on initial thoughts and impressions. Very compact packaging, tubes are in a plastic bag. The tubes are very light and portable but seen quite well built. Both attach to one another, and both have lock/release buttons and lens cover type caps. both have electrical fittings which can transfer exif data between the lens and body. I purchased these to use with an Olympus OMD EM5 MKII with a 2.8 pro 12-40mm Zuiko Lens. After watching a tutorial on-line, it seemed best to zoom the camera lens to the furthest focal distance of 40mm, images seem clearer using the 10mm extension tube, but you will lose some light a flash is recommended or increase ISO or decrease shutter speed. I found my lens touching the subject when using the 16mm tube. I use manual focus with focus peaking, have yet to try this with my tripod. I'm looking forward to taking images using the tubes. All in all for this price point you cant go wrong compared to the cost of a dedicated macro lens and its a great way to get into this genre of photography at a price point which is highly affordable.

Es müssen keine teuren Zwischenringe sein, so selten, wie sie von einem Fotoamateur benötigt werden. Diese Zwischenringe erfüllen zu 100% ihre Aufgabe. Optische Kenntnisse sind jedoch Voraussetzung, damit es nicht zu Fehleinschätzungen kommt. Negative Rezensionen sind hier nicht gerechtvertigt. Keine Verwischungen, wenn man die richtigen Lichtverhältnisse und Einstellungen berücksichtigt.

Très satisfait de ces bagues allonge pour micro 4/3 ! Elle s'adaptent parfaitement au boitier et à l'objectif (aucun jeu) et conservent les automatismes et l'autofocus. Légère perte de lumière (c'est inévitable), mais elle conservent la qualité de l'objectif. Je les utilise avec un objectif macro (M. Zuiko 60 mm) avec parfois une bonnette Raynox DCR-250 en plus pour obtenir un rapport 2.5:1 : le focus staking est toujours parfaitement géré par le boitier !Précision, sur ce modèle, la monture est en acier !Je recommande !

Perfetti anche con l'obiettivo Panasonic stock 12-32 a patto di usarli indoor e per cose inanimate altrimenti occorre utilizzare focali maggiori per non doversi avvicinare troppo. Trasmettono efficacemente tutti gli automatismi e la messa a fuoco (che per la profondità di campo esigua è quasi inutile!), e data la loro minima lunghezza sono pure resistenti seppure in plastica. Gli attacchi invece sono in metallo e a mio avviso necessitano di un po' d'uso per ammorbidirli. Vedremo nel tempo, per ora consigliatissimi.
