The picture and details make you think you will be getting both red and blue. I only received blue.

I used these to indicate PINK OR BLUE depending on the pH of my drink to reveal my great grandson.Blue ( small amount of baking soda) in a glass of water.

I should have read the reviews beforehand. This is deceiving as it is a "variety pack" and the photos make it seem as if you will receive both red and blue litmus paper when in fact you only receive blue paper. Wish I would have opened the container beforehand, now I'm unable to complete an assignment on time. Ya live and ya learn.

There is no red litmus paper included. This is ONLY blue litmus paper.

I guess all the one star reviews are not for review of the item itself but rather failed expectations?Blue litmus paper changes color to red when exposed to acidity 0-6.9 PH and that is what's portrayed in the item photo. I only need to test for acidity and don’t need red paper to test for bases so this meets my expectations. If you need blue AND red or Universal Indicator; this is not it. keep looking.I use it to see if my Flash Paper (nitrocellulose) stash is decomposing and thus needs to be disposed of before it becomes unstable and dangerous. (it can revert to nitric and sulfuric acid over time, not a good thing).I’m taking one star off for quality control issues between the strips. ⅗ of the strips were very dark blue and ⅖ were light blue. They both do the job however and turn red upon acidity.- The price of $1.35/100 is fantastic.- Does not come with instructions; it's just assumed you know what you're doing if you order them.

This is total bait and switch bull crap. It shows in the picture, red and blue litmus paper, but I only got blue litmus paper. Will be returning it.

Very disappointing. The description and paper lead you to believe you are getting red and blue litmus strips - it is only a container of blue strips. Buyer beware!

This product shows blue and red litmus paper when you order. You cannot select one color or another. But only blue shipped.
