Inport Hotwire Stereo to PC Recording Kit Record From any Headphone Jack to a PC

This product works!!!. I've been trying all sorts of software for converting music cassettes to MP3's and then into iTunes. Nothing worked and I was going crazy. I went to two Apple stores and spoke to different "genius" reps. I tried Audacity and multiple formats. I tried other online downloadable software solutions that were suggested. It started to drive me crazy. The songs would play when loaded into iTunes on my windows laptop but then when sync'ed with the iPhone they would not play on the iphone. This product did the trick and is easy to use. It also cleans the noise from the old tapes. This is product is great and the price is a steal. All connection cables are provided and a CD for loading the software is included. I wasted a lot of time before I found this product. Don't waste your time buy this software. BTW: I also downloaded viruses when downloading other web solutions and even had to get into safe-mode and restart the PC to a previous back-up date. So, it was hell before I found this software. I wish that I could give it 10 stars.

Received the Xitel Inport quickly. I had an old one and this is much simpler to use. Works very well, easy to separate songs, title and export. Very pleased.

I was very disappointed when, after many attempts, I could not sucessfully down load the software. The instructions seemed simple enough but I suspect that my laptop running Windows 7 combined to prevent the sucessful download. Too bad since I have old but very good and well maintained stereo components.

Plugged it all in per instructions, things were looking good and then nothing. It simply wouldn't record anything. After reading all the reviews, I came to the conclusion this product will only work with certain computer configurations. If your computer is set up correctly, good on you. If not, best of luck. A reading of the instructions informed me that the software needs to be registered in order to receive support. Guess what? The website where your register your product no longer exists. Oh well, I bravely marched on and tried to make it work on my own but after several hours of tinkering I decided to cut bait.Further, and this is odd because Amazon satisfied this order, the box I received has an old Best Buy price tag on it. Could it be Amazon acquired a bunch of this dung in a blowout sale and passed the (um) savings onto me? Further, I've been sitting on this product for a few months and finally found time to play with it so I am no longer able to return it for a refund. Shoot, I really wanted to get some of the old LPs onto the iPod.

I Was kind of disappointed with the software. The software didn't really let you get the hissing noises out, unless you went through each track manually and edit the noise out that way, which of course is easier said than done. Otherwise, it worked. The CD's sound fairly good even without having to manually edit them.

Order arrived before projected n in good order. A functional and I did make three cds , although these cds are not perfect since it will take some time to fine tune the touch in using all the features. All in all this device is very versatile since originally I was looking for a device (like a cassette transport/ convertor) to make cds from old casettes containg music/ songs stolen from the air. This device turns out to be far more versatle in accomodating different sources. Hence its performance exceeded my original requrement and so 5 stars..

The product worked well except we had difficulty copying the LP tracks. The CD turned-out with all tracks copied as a single track. I had to contact the company to find-out how to copy so that each individual track was separated. The problem was with the Microsoft windows. We had to go on-line to download a free program called CDBurnerXP. If you have Windows, don't try to copy without this extra software.

this item is working only with windows 7 Windows XP and Windows Vista. AND NOT WITH WINDOWS 8Please make sure before you are buying this item. Its not on there scription.Thanks
