Just no
If you’re into typewriters like I am, get on Marketplace and look for people selling machines they dig out of their attics or basements, find a modern day repairman, and get yourself a classic, working machine for $100. Old machines were built to last. One look at this joke of a typer and I can already guarantee you’ll be disappointed. Stay with the classics and fine people who have a love for the classics. You won’t be disappointed.

Had to send it back
After only using it 3 times some of the keys would not work and some that did typed an odd looking thing. They did let me return it and I was refunded all my money. Was not charged for shipping it back to them. Would have been a nice typewriter if this had not happened. Giving it 3 stars for the refunding without a problem. Also, mine did not come with the cover.

Save your money!
I am old enough to still have a Smith-Corona original that works beautifully! Do yourself a favor, find an original, and they are out and about. This contemporary imposter is a joke! Don’t buy it!
