Survived bad weather
I've had this fabric for 2 years and it has survived Houston hurricane winds and terrible hunderstorms. It's very durable and it provides great shade. I think it definitely is worth the money.

Works phenomenally for a Chicken coop all year.
We use this on our chicken coop to keep our chickens shaded throughout the day. This definitely does the job to keep them cooler during the day and they get some shade in there. Durability is pretty good. We’ve had it over a year now and we absolutely love it. It protects the chickens from snow as well keeping the snow out. It is versatile in seasons. Easy to install we use zip ties to tie it down to the coop. It can rip easily putting holes in it, if not use properly.

It Works To Cool Metal Building
Product arrived in perfect condition. A piece of 10x20 ft perforated tarp.I got this because the afternoon Florida sun heats up the side of my 11ft tall and 28ft long metal garage to the point you can fry an egg on it - and I love eggs! All that heat permeates the 2" thick foam insulation I have on the inside and the wall becomes a giant heater that my window shaker A/C cannot overcome.I was looking for a flat, screen-type, netting that does the same thing as this product. I couldn't find it so I thought I'd give this a shot. The plan is to hang it from the eaves using SS fasteners at every grommet and gentle bungie cords at 4 points along the bottom. This should shade the wall and help out the A/C unit.Low and behold! I love it when a plan comes together! It works just as I expected and it's on the far side so I could care less what it looks like from over there.Mission accomplished.Like I said, this is more or less a machine perforated/shredded tarp with nylon bands around the edges. I didn't feel like taking photos so sorry about that. I have no idea how well it'll hold up. It doesn't see any abuse and hangs vertically so there isn't much stress on it.

It was worth the money.
This product is just right for my purposes. My covered front porch gets too much sun and makes it miserable to sit outside during the daytime. Plus my potted plants leaves were burning. Not anymore. I put it up by myself and it was easy. It's strong and allows air to filter through.. what a blessing. The temperature immediately drops. My plants are happy. I am happy. I can see my grandchildren playing when it's full daylight. At night it does make the porch dark enough for a large buglight to be used.. Get the right size though. I ordered the size by sight and it was too big. But that is okay. I can sit on my porch in shade and be comfortable.

Significantly cooler
We use this to replace a canopy cover that SUCKED. This is durable in that I put it up and it's weather a couple of VERY strong storms and is perfect. Also, the 70% shade is awesome! It allows for air flow and you can feel a significant difference between in the sun and under this tarp. I'd buy it again. The only "negative" is that it doesn't look amazing; like we don't walk out back and say, "WOW! What an amazing looking tarp." It looks somewhat plasticy. It isn't "ugly" by any means, it just looks like the price I paid. HAHA. But like I said, It is effective.

blows in a stiff wind all day, every day, and doesn't care
I let this shade cloth sit around in the package for two weeks before using it. I thought I was going to have to return it. I was expecting something more lightweight and of a different weave. Then the heatwave struck. I gave in and strung it up haphazardly for some temporary relief until I would have the time to give it better support, not expecting the mesh to hold together and not expecting my poor installation job to keep it in the air. What I had intended to do was run cord from the house to the fence, lacing the cord through the grommets at each end, so that the cord would support the middle of the mesh. This would give me the option of sliding the mesh up the cord in a bunch when I wanted more sun and expanding it back down the cord as needed. What I actually did was tie cords to only 10 of the grommets and afix them wherever I could reach. It's been a couple of months. The sun beats on it all day. The winds here whip up starting around noon and don't stop until 10pm. I have watched the mesh flop around, billow up like a parachute, yank on its cords, and get rained on. I was wrong that the wind would chew it up; there is enough air flow to let the wind mostly pass through it But I thought surely the rain would weigh it down and I'd finally have to get off my lazy butt and install it properly. But, nope. The mesh, which happened to have got installed on a bit of a slant, kept the area underneath it mostly dry, while allowing the rain to run off the lower edge as though I'd designed it that way.As for keeping the sun off the patio and away from the sliding glass door, it's great. The plants still get enough sun to bloom, but it's so much cooler in the house.I love it. I'm glad I didn't spend money on something fancier.
