Mattel WWE John Cena Bend 'n Bash Stretching Action Figure with Accessories, 5.5-inch

My grandsons enjoys this stretchy toy. Versatile.

This is small! But it’s my son’s favorite toy. He has played with it so much and it has held up incredibly well. The weight lifting part of toy has a few pieces so kind of hard to keep track of for a 4 year old but he loves it.

We received the John Cena version of this toy. It comes with the stretchy figure, a bench press, and barbell. The bench press is designed to fling the character but we found it a bit awkward and hard to figure out. It was pretty easy to put together never the less. The barbell accessory can be separated into two pieces and put through the character's hands. We had a really hard time getting the piece to fit through his hands but eventually figured it out. You have to kind of force it through and get it to stretch to fit through. You can connect the two pieces or leave them separated to use as a "bash" item. My character seemed to be scuffed or missing paint on his pants as well. I don't know if that was just a manufacturing flaw or that happened during transit or storage.This is a fun stretchable toy but you can only do so much with it. My son got bored with it after about 10 minutes but it was definitely fun while it lasted. This would definitely be more fun with multiple characters to "bash" and battle with- which is the point of these toys. It would be great if they sold these in a multi-pack.

This is a nice figure. My son really likes him, especially the arms. The arms are silicone so they are really flexible and stretchable. Just a couple observations:1. The Mattel WWE Bend N’ Bash figures are not the same size as the Mattel Wrestlemania figures. If you play with them together the Wrestlemania figures are 2 inches shorter than the Bend N’ Bash figures. Cena is 5.5 inches, our Kane Wrestlemania is 7.5 inches.2. The hands are fixed in a circle so you can’t just snap items into them.3. You can’t remove any of the clothing, accessories, or pieces (head, arms).4. The weight bench has a springboard which you can use to flip Cena.5. The weight bench doesn’t stay in one piece, it keeps falling apart.In summary, for $16 this is a pretty good set, and the weight bench is nice to have as a prop. If you want other figures of the same size be sure to look for the Bend N’ Bash series.

This is a great toy for any kid (or adult) that is a big WWE fan or a bigger John Cena fan. Growing up during prime Cena, you can't help but realize how empty the WWE is without him on a regular basis. This toy is great to have on a desk or in the office if for presentation. The toy is also great to play with if you are collecting this set of stretchable WWE stars.The action figure is made with decent detail to John Cena and you can do a lot of things with him. It's great to have as a standalone or if you are planning to build a few stars to recreate your favorite WWE moments. Overall, this is great for any WWE fan, collector, or hardcore Cena fan.

My son and I love this! My son isn't old enough or familiar with John Cena or wrestling (he will one day though), but he gets a kick out of playing with this action figure. It's a mini John Cena that you can pose in couple of ways, but his favorite part is his stretchy arms. It's not as stretchy as something like a Stretch Armstrong, but it still stretches a decent amount and is kind of like a fidget toy when playing with it.The set also comes with a few accessories, aka a bench press and a little set of weights that can split in two. It's all pretty good quality and seems like it's built to last.Overall, fun toy that's great for any fans of wrestling. Highly recommended.
