Amazing immediately
My teenager is in high school marching band, has played the clarinet for four years throughout middle school. She has struggled to always have the right kind of wooden reed in the right condition, in its optimal state to play, and keeps breaking them and failing to reach really low or really high notes. I’ve bought her one of these after reading some reviews online, and hoped it would handle the undisciplined/unpredictable nature of wooden reeds it played by kids who maybe aren’t the best at taking care of them, and encourage her to practice more often.Right out of the box, she was able to loudly and clearly play every single note and says the hardest thing to do is play quietly, which is a new experience for her since she has always struggled to play loudly enough without sounding airy. She loved the reed so much that she asked for another one and has been a salesman for these among her peers. Highly recommend, particularly for kids and other non-professional musicians who are concerned with full functionality and clear tone, and aren’t obsessed with the minutia of sound/field differences between reeds.

Great quality long lasting
Amazing quality! My son absolutely love this for band. He plays a clarinet and is really rough on his reads. This read had last us the second half of last year and most of this year so far we shall see when school starts how much longer it will last, but definitely worth the investment.

Great for outdoor playing
Bought during covid for extended playing outdoors in varying weather. Worked great, lasted for a few months of heavy, daily playing, then would recommend replacing. Sound quality was good until it got older. Great for playing in pep bands in the cold

European Cut too wide on clarinet mouthpiece but it’s playable.
Reed is ok but I prefer the French cut because it’s a narrower reed.

Euro Signature 3.75 (2019) & Euro 3.75 UPDATED REVIEW 06/2024
Signature European 3.75 (old model) and European 3.75 are exactly the same. I purchased these two reeds 5 yrs apart (2019 & 2024). They are wider than cane, shorter than cane and play consistent and easily. They have a little lighter feel than 3.5. Now that Ive been playing for 5years this is a great reed I can control without biting. Im using these reeds in a pit orchestra. It does like to warm up a few minutes before I get my best feel. All ranges are supported like a hard reed but blows freely like a soft reed. Its quite enjoyable actually! As for intonation of all reeds ... I won't comment. B/c without of secure embouchure, proper tongue position and airstream, its hard to tell. I find many variances between all my cane reeds. I'm playing this on an M13 lyre profile 88. Happy experimenting! Playing is a freedom and a joy!!Now as for NEW/Used - this box was definitely opened and tried by someone else. There is a very superficial scratch/mark on top. I WASHED WITH SOAP AND WATER like anything you buy from a store that is going to go into your mouth. I tested it, it played perfectly, Im keeping it. I bought it from Legere on Amazon in case i wanted to send it back free ship. Thats what i get. An opened product that still works perfect. Im okay with this.

These are my favorite synthetic reeds!!!!
I absolutely love Legere reeds and have used them for years!! They are extremely durable and sound great. I purchased a clarinet reed that was a little too soft for the setup that I have but you can exchange your reed with Legere one time to get the strength that works best for you. There have been other synthetic reeds that I have played through the years that split in the heat of the sun, but these have no issues at all with the heat or colder weather. You can hear a slight sound difference between cane reeds and levers but overall they are a great product to use for outdoor occasions and teaching so that you don't have to mess with cane reeds. I highly recommend buying them for any instrument.

Enjoy playing stress free!
This reed works well for me! The sound quality is a bit bright, but not as much as I was expecting for it being a plastic reed. Honestly, this has made playing the clarinet more enjoyable for me. The stress of whether or not my reeds would work, whether they were wet enough, sandpapering them, etc is gone, and I can just enjoy playing straight out of the case. If you play a woodwind instrument and have anxiety around playing, this may relieve some of your stress like it did for me. Again, your tone quality may not sound as good, so you may still want wood reeds for some performances and practices, but you may find it handy for rehearsals and personal practice.
