A very Critical review
Edit (06/29/2025) THE PICTURES IN THIS REVIEW ARE NEW TAKEN AS OF THE NIGHT I HAVE EDITED THIS POST!!!! THIS IS NOT FROM WHEN I GOT THIS CHAIR IN FEBURARY OF 2023!!!! This is on me, not this chair. This chair has gone through so much abuse in the last two years I have had it. It has never ripped, but I have completely destroyed the right arm rest... I will personally say as long as you aren't a gamer with ... rage issues ha-ha, this chair will absolutely hold up. I have slept in this chair many times too, it has held up comfortably, and suitably. Let me start off with a few things more so towards this company. It was suppose to arrive by tomorrow but it ended up one day early which I absolutely loved! Downside a bit, I didn't expect the box to be that heavy.. Or that large, But It's fine it made sense why in the long run. The chair is very different.. compared to "Leather" chairs, Leather chairs tend to rip quite a lot over time. I had my Leather chair for years (I estimate at least 4 years) and it tore within the first year like hell. I have stayed away from getting a new one (Since at the time they were expensive and I couldn't entirely put that type of money just towards a chair until I really really needed one) But I like my stuff to look very nice and clean, I am a very well organized person and I will not live in disgust, I loved and hated my leather chair. But when I decided enough was enough I finally decided to get a new chair. IN WHICH.. I decided to try out this one, A fabric chair.. Now, In the long run this chair should provide no tearing as long as it is kept clean, and good smell it and maybe clean wash it every once and a while. NOW! Let's begin my true opinion on this chair. * It is very comfortable, It can go almost a full 90+ degrees down (Don't do it I literally almost fell back 5 times and my girlfriend was laughing her butt off at me..). *This chair is mostly fabric and the arm rests are a very very hard but can be squished type of fabric/foam material..? Not entirely sure, Very hard.. But comfortable enough. *The pillows are very comfortable * It took a bit but was very easy to assemble following the instructions on the poster *They sent some extra accessories.. (More on that later) * It comes with a 10 year warranty. and a 2 year warranty for accessories. *The instructions also have a poster on the back which is very nice I liked that. Now let me get to the accessories. They provided me a Mousepad which I am using right now, It isn't as wide as I would've liked HOWEVER THIS THING IS LONG AS HECK?!? Almost my entire table excluding 11 inches. It said it was a keyboard and mousepad, However I did NOT receive a keyboard..(Not sure on that)(don't really care cause I bought the chair not the keyboard..but I would've taken a extra keyboard too.. ;-;) Alright, let me get to the CONs of this chair that I had. (not all are bad just small things) Firstly, The box came pretty banged up.. Which was expected out of UPS. (I worked for UPS for a while.) Secondly, when assembling the screw-in area for the left top side of the back-rest wasn't completely good.. and it took me 30 minutes to get that screw in just right so the screw would pop the first washer in place and clip in basically. Which can happen just saying not a bad thing.. was just annoying. Thirdly, The chair hangs low to the ground at max height. my other chair was very high standing and I did enjoy that A LOT, But things like this I didn't take into account so it is half my fault, But the chair is more than good for me so yeah. Fourth and foremost, It's not that.. Wide.. It's more so meant for small women (Shoutout to the little queens of the world) Would be better for Women than Men but overall I will get use to it eventually. Fifth and final.. And I hate to say it even though it literally shows and says it doesn't.. NO LEG REST :SOB: Sadly no leg rest, But that's what you get for comfortability over utility. Overall. 5 Stars is my review. 4 Stars on utility. 5 Stars on Comfortability. 5 Stars for Gaming, (Just beware butt sweat) 5 Stars on packaging 5 Stars on Shipping. 5 Stars on Friendly Customer Service. 4 Stars on Size. (Could be a BIT bigger.. But still) 5 Stars to the Company 1 Star on that stupid screw that made me angry. Overall. Great chair, I'd recommend for at least small-decently large people. Anyone over 5'10 like myself and probably around 180+ pounds will have a hard time with this chairs size! Edit: Hello, this is my review about almost 2 years in, I am here to update you on my review. Since I got it it has been well and has served me good, it has gone through a lot of abuse... a lot. The chair is still holding up well, the color has sort of started to fade, as does with cloth over time, sadly a slit opened in the side of the arm rest which has VERY slowly been getting worse. On another note, they deskmat they sent me is doing great been using it for a long time. I have to say overall I have had a great time with this chair, now overtime this chair has fallen, been hit, smacked and other stuff, it now makes a small noise when I sit back on it, one of the wheels fell off but not damaged, this chair has survived a lot of abuse. I am going to give this chair a new rating compared to my previous. Fabric Material 8 out of 10 - Build Quaility 9 out of 10 - Comfort 8.5 out of 10 - Utility 7.2 out of 10 Again it doesn't have much it can do other than basically go up and down and lay at a full 180 pretty much. - Size 6.8 out of 10 I am deciding to lower the rating for size. Previously it was a 4 out of 5 but I am going to give it a 3.6 out of 5. I ended up turning the the lumbar pillow around to the back of the chair, I honestly recommend it as it will provide a bit more room. - I personally wish I could get another one so I can get rid of this slit as it cuts on my arm time to time but it can't be helped, no money to buy another. Thank you all for reading my review. Hope this helps. Total rating. 8.6 out of 10 4.3 out of 5

Awesome Chair
First “gaming” chair I’ve ever bought have always had regular office chairs before. But I love this chair and if this one last a good long while I would definitely buy another one. This chair does take some getting used to though. At first sit I was like dang this thing is kinda hard and it does take some getting used too but afterwards I wouldn’t want to go back. It causes you to sit with better posture rather than the slumping and hunching a reg office chair would cause me to do to get comfortable. The materials of this chair are top notch and all the adjustability it provides is great. Reclining feature is good little scary if you’ve never did that in an office chair but I do like it. I would say my biggest complaint with the chair tho would be the width of it. I’m 6ft an about 215 so about average size and I wish it were maybe just an inch or two wider in the seat and in the backrest. It’s not uncomfortable because of this but if maybe the manufacturer provided an slightly bigger version of this same chair I’d go with it next time. Overall: Love the chair looks great, sits great, price was right for it on sale for around 180$ which is an awesome deal, features are the same as all the Secret Labs, Nobles, Corsairs, and Razer chairs of the world maybe even better based on some online reviews I watched. If it lasts me a long while I will definitely buy another one. Only caveats gotta get used to the way it feels (could’ve just been me) and maybe if it was just a tad wider…..4.5/5 would recommend.

High quality and comfort, surprise extras!
For context, I'm 5'9" and 145 lbs - the chair fits me perfectly. It seemed a bit narrow for my shoulders at first (I have very broad shoulders, though), but once I added the lumbar and neck support it's PERFECT. The lumbar support has straps to keep it in place, which I love and didn't see mentioned anywhere (in fact, I think they must had added this feature recently due to feedback). Usually that was only the case for flashy (ugly) gaming chairs. It also come with a mouse + keyboard pad! I didn't have one already, so I was very happy to find that. There is also a card that says the first time something breaks/rips/whatever, to contact them - we'll see if that's helpful or even necessary, but I like the sentiment. The quality of the materials seems to be high - heavy plastics and metals that I hope will mean high durability. All of the stitching is very well-done, even on the base under the chair they used nice metal rings instead of just stapling the fabric together. The fabric itself feels very soft and durable, and I love the sleek and subdued look of it. I have noticed zero issues that others mentioned (wobbly armrests, low lift). Everything was packaged very carefully, and it was easy to take out and assemble. I noticed the weird smell others mentioned with I opened the protective coverings at first, but didn't notice any smell at all while actually using the chair. This was my first expensive chair purchase so I was very anxious about it, but I'm super happy with it!

Great craftsmanship!
I love this chair! The instructions and packaging were second to none. Feels sturdy and also comfy (I'm 5'9" and 140 lbs.)

Great chair that easily blends into the apartment!
I needed a gaming/ergo chair for my long hours of taking classes/working on my internship in my apartment and this one fits the bill perfectly. What really sold me on this chair is the cloth material, it feels so much more durable than pleather! One note: The light grey version doesn't quite match up with the picture listed. The sides/back of the chair actually covered in the same light grey fabric, and not the bonded leather in the picture. This was a pleasant surprise for me as I don't really like black chairs. Pros: -It looks like a relatively normal chair. Other gaming chairs have bright colors and accent lines that just don't quite match my taste. I bought the light grey version and it blends nicely in with my apartment. -Very supportive. I'm 5'8" and ~170lbs and fit very nicely into the chair. The cushions are supportive and keeps you in a good posture. -Easy to assemble. This chair came in a few large pieces and required relatively smaller amount of work to put together. Cons: -I wish the chair would lift a little higher. I have an abnormally tall setup (sitting/standing desk) and with the chair at the highest and armrest maxed out it's still an inch or two shorter than my keyboard. Can't ding the product though as my setup is atypical. -Lacks flashy features other gaming chairs may have (massaging lumbar support, foot rest, etc). I don't personally miss them but you may have different criterias. -Smells funny, let's see how long it takes to outgas.

Great chair with some minor flaws
This is my first "race seat" style chair. The two primary things I was looking for in a chair was the textile fabric and 4d arm rests. PROS: - Very comfy - Lumbar and neck/head pillows are surprisingly amazing - 4d arm rests move well and have a full assortment of positions - Appears to be super well made with premium materials (except... see MIDS section about metal rings) - Textile materials breath much better than my previous synth leather chair MIDS: - Debating on whether or not I will need arm rest covers. The dense foam used is really dense and has almost no give - There are metal rings that hold the chair material to the base. Not that I lay underneath my chair often but they look terrible and the edges are slightly sharp. I had to flatten them down so that my kid wouldn't scratch/cut themselves while playing with them CONS: - Stinky! I mean I know the foam smell will dissipate but at this time it's been a full week and I can smell this thing from the other side of the house. This being summer time so lots of windows open and tons of airflow happening but still this thing is awfully smelly. Maybe the products could be left to "breath" for a bit before shipping? - Overall looseness. This applies to both the seating of the gas lift and the arm rests. Once you "lock" in the position there is a lot of wiggling going on - (Not common I would imagine) I was hoping to use this chair w/o the wheels but can't. The gas lift seats too far below the base and causes the chair to pivot off of it if the wheels are not attached

Review (liable to change over the course of time)
Intro: I will be reviewing this chair over the course of time as this is a big purchase you should think before you try it yourself. And I just think a one time review like most on here doesn’t do enough justice because it IS a lot of money. I took took the dive so you don’t have to. So take my word for it now as of September 17th 2021 with a grain of salt and allow it to reinforce your trust as I update it over time. I will be showing an initial review, how it holds up after a few work days where back support is crucial, and a few months; and hopefully we can avoid it altogether but a test of warranty/consumer protection is important and I have heard people not getting much feedback holding promise on the supposed 2 year warranty which is important for a chair thats 300$. Initial review: Considering the questionable consumer support/protections and a weird experience with the reclining feature; it clicks like a hard spring which hopefully doesn’t mean bad in the long run in case of my unit( more specifically I would recline down, but as I get up it clicks) but certainly is a concerning noise nonetheless that’s makes me question it’s lastingness. And it’s got your standard chair height adjust lever, but I got it adjusted all the way up which is perfect for me, but Im not that tall. Im 5’10 and this chair supposedly says it’s for taller people as well. So the chair itself; to me it kind of fits like a glove; it hugs me from side and top down. that’s neither here nor there for me personally, it’s not bothering me that much but it could be huge for others. Also not as much leg room compared to my last chair; which isn’t too big of a deal again for me but could be for others which I learned last minute when I read international reviews. This is the English one but the other one kinda tells it how it is. Arm rests are a carbon fiber and some people say “wobbly” but that’s literally the function with many chairs so it moves with your hand movements. Not a con. This chairs assembly is fairly straightforward it’s not that hard to set up at all, and you get some accessory items like a lumbar pillow, neck pillow, and a mousepad. Mousepad is standard quality you should expect from a keyboard/mouse pad and I didn’t much care for the lumbar pillow. Maybe I’ll come around eventually but the neck pillow was a must for me. Overall I feel okay with this chair. Things worked out for me for me now but The true test will be when I really test it’s comfort after a a hard work day where I would really need it most and want to relax;what anyone buying this should expect. Maybe use the recline feature more often, and later on test their customer support which I hope stands true. But for now I’m feeling a 4 star. It’s not exactly giving me that 5 star rating out the gate as it has a lot of things that worked for me but maybe less so for others, and questioning it’s durability is a concern for me atm with its recline feature. I hope it’s all just water under the bridge and is working normally and nothing happens, but if something does I’d be sure to adjust accordingly. Update 1: so after a work day; yeah I can say this feels good on the back when I really need it. Also getting memory foam cushions on your armrests are huge. Little accessory item to help this chair. As for the lumbar pillow this chair had… it’s just no use. It makes it look good aesthetically but it’s way too stiff and because of that for me eats up chair space and disallows me to really sink back into my chair comfortably. And whaddya know it’s very cheap talking like from the conveyor belt hard foam. I’m sure in time it would form but with cheap foam like this I know that’s going to take a LOONG time. They should’ve went for memory which would truly be the game changer. Heavily considering trimming a pad to replace this cheap pillow or a new one altogether. Update 2: the seat did not take very long at all to develop little lumps in the cushion. When you pat your seat; it should be flat and solid. I now have two dips in the cushion for unknown reasons in random spots. These are typically things you get with proper memory foam in a matter of over a year. Not a couple days. Things at this rate are starting to look concerning. Will change this to 3 stars for now… Last update. 11/10/21 ultimately it’s just not for me. I looked at all this chairs issues and realized the amount I spent and said it’s totally unacceptable. Lumps in the seat one week in, tight hug, paper thin seat cushion and lack of care for this overall makes it simply a chair that was not for me and is inconsistent in what it’s requirements look like height/weight wise; which I have visibly seen karnox update periodically on here to hopefully encourage more sales by altering the numbers from what it should be. Irresponsible. I broke the purse and went for a secret lab at the end of the day. When making a huge purchase like this the absolute last thing you want to hear is poor CS and experience all these issues ONE week in. I think I’d love to have the secure feeling that I’m covered through and through on a purchase that calls for a couple hundred dollars and in particular a purchase whose shipping fees are over a HUNDRED given it’s weight. Which is why I am absolutely blessed and thankful for Amazon at the end of the day for completely helping me for a full complete refund. It makes me enjoy shopping here knowing I was seriously protected so well like that. Good on ya Amazon. But back to the finish line. This chair from the rock hard pillows to the already suspect quality of materials in critical areas like the gears and overall functionality. Secret lab by contrast immediately delivered with its heavy duty build that I could immediately tell the difference in after using the two. Over a month since my purchase and the chairs totally not experiencing any issues I have listed from karnox. It’s definitely pricey but worth it in the end. And later on I did make a discovery. There are countless chairs with this exact same design which leads me to believe this “brand” karnox is more close to a straight off the conveyor belt basic piece of equipment from China. Being repackaged with a different name and all the same lesser quality. I wanted to believe those videos karnox had which hyped me up for their product. How the dedication was real but it ultimately wasn’t there in this product altogether. Your time is better spent elsewhere.

A few broken pieces
Pretty comfortable and seems sturdy the pieces I used were quality metal to put it together. The instructions are printed out on a huge piece of paper and really easy to follow. A few of the plastic pieces came broken or cracked but they seemed to be cosmetic (plastic covers that go over the sides and arms). I'm writing this review only a week after receiving it so not sure about if the chair will hold up in the long run. I also used my own lumbar and cushion pillows not the ones that came with the chair. Update a few months in and it makes a few squeaks now.
