Best gardening gloves, ever!
Fantastic gloves! We've taken on a house in a rural area with a garden that hasn't been touched for several years, and the brambles had basically just taken over the one side of the garden. I'd already tried two other pairs of "heavy duty" gloves from a diy store - each pair lasted about an hour, which is less time than it took me to remove the thorns and splinters from my hands. Ordered these gloves, they arrived really quickly and kept my girly hands thorn-free for two days' hard garden clearing - and they're still going strong. I ordered them in a medium, which I think is in line for someone with a size 8 shoe, and they fit perfectly. My husband is a 9.5, and the large gloves fit him well too. They're tough enough to stop thorns from going through and into your hands, but flexible enough so that you can get a grip on things to pull up. Would definitely recommend.

The best gardening gloves I have used yet
I am clearing a patch of land from several years of bramble growth and have worn through the fingers on an old pair of gloves. These are so much better. The things I really like...The gauntlet design protects your wrists and lower armThe leather is soft and supple, and yet has stopped all the thorns so far. They are comfortable, and thorn proof.I love them.

Great protection and comfy fit
Very good quality. All leather. Comfy to use, however any moisture build up inside glove will stain your hands yellow. Does wash off eventually and after the gloves have been used a few times, the staining becomes less.Good protection from the usual brambles, roses andNettles etc.Good protection for wrists and lower arms, especially if wearing short sleeves.

Brilliant
I bought two pairs of these.....I think I got large and medium. I have small hands but I am wearing the large and my 9 year old has been wearing the medium. So they are quite small.....having said that, they are brilliant. When you first put them on you will think oh my god these are too stiff, but they soon loosen and I have pulled out hundreds of nettles and thistles as has my son and you don't feel a thing and because they come quite far up you will be very unlucky if you get stung on your arms. They are useless when it comes to trying to pull the smaller weeds out as they are quite thick but I didn't buy them for that so I am very happy and will certainly buy more

Good bramble busters.
We have a lot of brambles in our garden and these gloves are good protection for cutting them down. They are long lasting.

Good protection. Limited again thorns and brambles though.
These are good, tough, comfortable gloves, but they do not provide quite the protection again thorns I was hoping for. I can tell you, from my own painful experience, thorns DO penetrate these, sometimes quite easily. Certainly, if you were to grip and large thorn at 90 degrees and clasp your hand around it it's going to go through so you still need to handle brambles lightly and carefully.I have a privet hedge that gets overtaken with brambles by the end of the summer and I was sick of the agony of piercing thorns when trying to clear them so bought these. Yes, the gauntlet style gives excellent protection for your forearms, I'll definitely concede that, but you can't just grab handfuls of brambles with these and expect not to get hurt.Given the variety of reviews on here from they provide total protection to they provide none at all, is that they very as they're made from leather and probably vary from pair to pair. I read one review stating they were so stiff the review was sure she/he'd be able to move his or her hands in them, whereas mine, I thought, were very supple from the word go.These are, without doubt, the most effective gardening gloves I've ever had, and give superb protection again nettles and all other non-spikey materials, but, at three times the price of ordinary gardening gloves, so they should. They provide better protection against brambles than cheaper gloves but not as much as I hoped.

Very good gloves. This is the second pair that i have owned. The last pair i worked to death and eventually i needed to replace them. As other people have commented they can leave a yellow stain on your hands if you get them wet but this will wash off. The are very comfortably, they are strong and yes they will protect you from brambes. OK not 100% but most of the time. I speak from experience as i use these both at home and at work when landscaping / clearing over grown areas. Highly recommended.

Rose proof
My skin is easily torn. These gauntlets have well fitting gloves, plus a soft gauntlet. They are easy to use whilst working.
