Fantastic Book
This is a fantastic book and proves to be an outstanding introduction to the qabalistic tree of life and many of the phillosophical beliefs and practices that surround it. The last half of the book is Skyring excercise to better familiar yourself via a process of pathfinding so that the knowledge may be familiarised, better understood and carried around you on a much deeper level.

Tree of life explained
I initially overlooked this book, but after coming back to it, I realized it is actually an exceptional book with an in-depth explanation of each sephira and the paths that connect them. The vision of each path discussed within explains the symbolism used in the golden dawn tradition and illuminates the various types of intelligence exhibited by the mind. Highly recommended if you want to gain knowledge on the tree of life.

Very useful
Packed full of information on Kabbalah and the Tree of Life, has pointed me in the next direction for practicing Magick. Details a couple of good rituals which are quite effective (Middle Pillar/Advanced Middle Pillar). Good book but 4 stars instead of 5 because it's kinda written in a very ornate and "old-fashioned" way and can be hard to follow sometimes, but it was originally written a while ago (like many of the best esoteric/occult books) so is understandable.

Israel Regardie's A Garden of Pomegranates
I really like this book very much. Israel Regardie was at one time Aleister Crowleys Secretary, until they fell out. Regardies work on the Golden Dawn was Excellent. In this book he takes us into a study of the Kabbalah. It is an excellent work indeed and I would recommend it together with Dion Fortunes work, 'The Mystical Qabalah and, William G. Gray's work, 'The Talking Tree.

a great read, even better second time around..
I loved this book first time around a number of years ago. It is still a good read, though I have only just started to read it again, it has peeked my interest in the subject. I look forward to getting to the exercises later in the book. The Cicero's too are great writers of the Occult. I would recommend this reader to anyone interested in the subject...

Groundbreaking and challenging - Wonderful
For the serious student this book is more than just a leasurely read. This is not just bedtime reading. This is part of a journey. It contains the elements of a new life! I did not just buy it to read it but to study it. Expect to have your horizons broadened and your old wineskins changed! It is powerful and transforming. Thank you for your hard work. I have since bought this as a gift for numerous others who are awakening. I recommended it to lots more...Make sure there is enough around as I know I will be ordering more of this book! It is a truly valuable resource. Len

El libro de Regardie sólo es un tercio del volumen; el resto es material original de los Cicero que vale la pena tener si eres principiante.

First, on physical book quality. I saw some reviewers mention bad copies. My copy had none of the issues mentioned. It is the 2017 Llewellyn version which is a thirteenth printing on a third edition. With that said I'll divide this review into sections for Regardie and sections for the Cicero additions. Given that the majority of this book is the Cicero additions (pages 171-482) the review mostly hinges on what those additions introduce. + Regardie The sections by Regardie are written as mile wide and inch deep. It covers the basics of typical path working and associated practices. I would recommend it for anyone who is interested in the topic, but has yet to dive in. This gives you an idea, but you are mostly left to your own devices to discover how to venture forth into the topics. Unfortunately, I am unsure how well the delivery is for a beginner. It is clearly made for a beginner, but I'll leave it up to the discretion of beginners to decide how well the material is introduced. What I can tell you is the basics are absolutely here and consists of your general exercises you can find in any other curriculum on the subject. + Cicero Addition The real reason I would recommend this book is the inclusion of the visualized path working on the tree. It is a lengthy section detailing "one person's abbreviated experience in Rising on the Planes". However, unless I've misunderstood the section notes here, it also seems to include elements of other people's experiences, rituals, and other sources of inspiration interspersed. Probably to fill in and include relevant details. This serves to help. This section alone is worth using the book as a reference when path working or other associated exercises. I keep a multitude of books from different people's experiences and knowledge on path working to reference when doing my own work and research. Each one has their own key strengths and weaknesses and will often reveal different approaches. Due to this the value they contain far exceed dry descriptions. I think this one (in comparison to others like Crowley, Knight, Meral, etc.) is quiet mythical and there is a lot off interaction with an assortment of myths and deities. Compare that to the highly astrological descriptions as provided by Soror Meral. This gives a great handle into possibilities that are not present in many authors as we see direct interaction with the myths. Due to this it also reads like a novel which no doubt is incredibly helpful for a number of students and workers. I have attached a picture of one of these sections so you can see it includes a brief description of either the Sephiroth or the Path, lightly detailed common associations, and then includes the guided meditation into it. The guided meditation showing the basics of the ritual entry and experience that follows. Finally, I'd like to also leave a note for those who have newer associations ("Tzaddi is not the star"). The worker used old associations, but I think you'll find the newer associations would be even more relevant to the experience given. This should be interesting to ponder and might lead one to new insights.

Concise and beautifully written. Regardie is a master showing his own prowess and blossoming out of Crowleys shadow. A must read for any occult or Kabbalistic student.
