Bag Gloves for Boxing
Excellent bag gloves for the price point. Usually 14 Oz gloves bother my knuckles but these have excellent padding which has held up 6 months in.

Fantastic gloves!
These gloves are very comfortable around my wrist and protect my hands and my partners. The lining in the gloves have keeped odors at bay and are the real leather material is holding up to abuse, no signs of splitting or cracking.

Top tier straight up boxing glove.
I bought 14oz BGV9-s for my pad and bag work. They arrive VERY stiff, be sure to break them in slowly. in this period it might feel painful, not comfortable etc. but give it 2-3 weeks, foam will mold on your hand and it might become your fave glove. fit is really good, I am 6ft4 180 pounds with normal hands, it fits me excellently with big wraps. has a great pop on bags and pads, but please do not use in sparring unless you really dislike your sparring partner, as it feels like a brick. As I am a muay thai fighter, BGV1-s are a better option for me, especially in sparring and partner drills. BGV9-s really require that you have a perfect form. if you like sneaking in shots by bending your wrist, it is nearly impossible in these gloves. your form has to be near textbook. it is also not the best for clinching because of the wrist support it provides, but it is doable. blocking kicks with these is also not as good as in other gloves. Overall, very very good boxing and pad/bagwork glove, if you are combo puncher and mainly a boxer, it is a must have essentially.

Another banger from Fairtex!
I just got this glove so I will update my review in a month or so. I gotta say that delivery and packaging wise, it was top notch. I ordered it on a Friday (Jul 29th) and it was scheduled to be delivered a week from order (Aug 8th) but I received it on Monday (Jul 31st). Definitely wasn't expecting a quick turnaround and in great condition upon arrival. It was tightly packed and wrapped in layers of bubble wrap on top of the original packaging so that's kudos to them cause it shows they care that the product arrives in shape. Now about the glove, I love how compact the glove is (I got 16oz) and the design (got the red with white trim) was a beaut. Made from pure leather and it has that fresh leather smell when you first use it. Has gotten compliments from my gym mates about the new glove. Quality is amazing for sure. Padding is dense and a bit top heavy (this is known for mexican style punchers gloves). Has a grip bar so you can form a proper fist when punching. They are definitely meant for straight up boxing though rather than Muay Thai as there's not enough padding to absorb kicks. Velcro is great and wrist support is good without feeling too stiff. But why only 4 stars? Well, it still needs to be broken in properly, although its not as stiff as most people would say it is for first hand use. While it is compact, the inside is roomy. I'm hoping that as I use it more, it will eventually mold to my hand and conform to my fists. Also, it didn't have that pop when I used it on the bags (haven't done pads with it yet) so that was a bit downer. Overall, it's a really nice glove. Amazing quality. Great for sparring (enough protection for both you and your partner). Hopefully, with more use, it gets better on the bag and pads. I could definitely see myself using this for a long time. Highly recommended and for the price, it's a banger.

Really good gloves, good price and quality
These are really excelent and comfortable gloves for the price. The leather feels, looks and smells great. Protection for knuckles feels all right and the feeling when hitting the bag is great. I prefer this feeling to the Hayabusa’s T3 even though the padding is supposedly better. They can get a bit hot though, while using them and your hands can get sweaty, using wraps is a good idea; maybe breathability could be improved.

Outstanding gloves but...
When my old gloves broke down I did a lot of research on what gloves to buy next. This brand was recommended to me by a friend and I am very happy I listened. I chose these (Mexican boxing style) over the classic Muay Thai gloves because I primarily do boxing workouts on a heavy bag and opted for the superior wrist support these provide. They took some time to break in but when they did I fell in love. I take great care of them and after a few months of continuous use, they still look brand new. I love the wrist support as well as the grab bar within the forefingers. Just be sure to tuck in your thumbs when punching, it only takes one punch to remember that the small piece of leather that attaches to the end of the thumb creates a hotspot that feels like it's separating my thumbnail from my thumb. Other than that I absolutely love the "CRACK" they make when they hit the heavy bag just right.

Very good and high quality gloves!
I have decided to invest in better quality gloves with more wrist protection and these were a very good choice! Very well-made and they feel very good. Boxing becomes another experience with good gloves. It is much better to save and invest in a good pair of gloves (that will last more) than to buy cheap gloves that will not deliver the same quality and experience and will have to be replaced much sooner!

New BGV9 version
These are great for mitt and pad work as well as smashing the heavy bag. Leather and stitching is of high quality. Velcro is great and wrist support is good without feeling too stiff. Foam is a little bit softer than previous version. Had the BGL7 (basically the lace up version of the BGV9) which was compact, very dense and stiff. Still enjoyed using them but my fists would get very fatigued on hard sessions. The new BGV9 gloves are a lot more comfortable. Despite the softer foam, I still personally wouldn't recommend them for sparring. Overall, a great durable training glove for a fairly decent price. Highly recommended.

Fantastic gloves although they did take a while to break in. Build quality, finish and padding is great.
