does what is says
no quiblees so far - cheapest so far - much cheaper than screwfixused on hammer/ drill and chisel mode.nice carry case that is tough with depth gaugeit had enough space for a couple of loose SDS drill bits and a tube of mollylike most dewalt products - it lives up to its expectation

Worth paying for a quality tool
It feels solid as soon as you pick it up. The sds is so much easier to use than my previous chuck type. I bought a core drill bit to vent my tumble drier and it went through the brick like a knife through butter. I also bought some chisels and they work very well with it.I have posted a photo of the hole I cut through brick.

Very pleased
I was struggling drilling into concrete and brick with my old hammer drill and had a task which needed anchors in concrete that I was having a tough time with. Eight 100mm holes needed and the first six took ages and weren't doing my elbow any favours. Ordered this drill and the last two holes took about 10 seconds each! It goes into reverse too so easy to get back out and has a static setting for a chisel which Ihave used to save much effort cleaning old cement off bricks. Well worth the money. Also got a chuck for standard bits so I can drill into wood aswell. All well presented in a decent box which has compartments for bits and the extra chuck.

Good bit of kit to add to my collection.
For £75, delivered, I got the drill and a good quality case to keep it in. I bought this bad lad for a specific task to take out some addled plaster on a bathroom refurb project (see the results!). and it didn`t let me down. I`m not trade but I try to buy decent kit (as I see it) for use in my DIY projects and at the price offered DeWalt seemed a natural choice as I see the lads using either them or Makita on the sites. Weight wise its light weight yet doesn't feel cheap with a generous amount of cord so you can move around unrestricted. Easy to use too. Straight out the box, SDS chisel bit fitted and I was ready to go. Don`t know how this this would fair as a site tool and it'd be interesting to get a site operatives opinion on this. I`m guessing at this price its aimed at the consumer market but could be wrong.

Just what was needed
I am fully renovating a house and it is an old victorian one but becasue the wallpaer has been on the walls for about 50 years, its like it has been put on with araldite and will not come off for love nor money.A lot fo the walls are covered in lead based paint as well so we have decided becasue its such a large house, we can afford to lose some space and are overboarding all rooms but this requires 30 drill holes per 2.4 x 1.2m panel of plasterboard we put up.I was borrowing a freinds drill intially but i wil probably end up burning his out so it was time to purchase my own. This drills them like a hot knife through butter so really happy with it.

Very good
Ploughs through any job so far. Star off simply because of how hot it gets when worked hard.

Awesome
I had to check the brick I was drilling, as it felt way too easy. A very nice piece of kit. Would definitely recommend.
