Excellent bit of kit.
This is a great bag that clips quickly and easily into the Ibera luggage carriers. You MUST have one of these carriers as this will not work with any other (at least not the one I had!) There are 5 main compartments. The largest fits a set of clothes and lunch including a small towel. You can get size 12 shoes into the folding paniers, although this is a tight fit. You then has an extra pocket on the lid of the bag (plus a webbing compartment underneath this that holds the shoulder strap (took me a while to find that). There is also a small pocket on the rear of the carrier that will hold a flexible bike lock or bike tools. Safety is enhanced with reflective strips. After 3 weeks of use I do like this bag. At first I had a bit of trouble mounting the bike as the bag comes quite high and my leg was getting caught when I swung it over the saddle. However my hips have adjusted and now don't have trouble. Added bonus, I am now more flexible than I was ! The downsides, apart from catching your leg, after cycling back from work on a rainy day, mud and watch got into the locking catch on the back and despite running water through it, it is now stiff and hard to use, I do have mudguards but as I have suspension on the front of my bike couldn't use fully stayed mudguards so the rear guard ends at the same point at the rear catch, hence it getting covered in mud. This won't be a problem for more sensible mud guards! The zip for the main compartment sometimes gets snagged on the lining material. They are quality zips so no harm is done, but this is very annoying. There are lots of zips. I very often open the wrong zip. Anyone used to stay dry coats probably won't have this problem! Overall despite the niggles this is a quality piece of kit. I am very glad to be free of my rucksack. Makes peddling to work a lot more comfortable. I'm adding to this review several months later. I am even more impressed with this pack months later. Now done 1000 miles with it. It has not fallen off once and is as good as when I first brought it, except that the material has relaxed inside the bag meaning it no longer gets caught in the zips. I have purchased an Ibera rain cover (9.99!) and cycled in some heavy rain for 45 minutes without anything getting wet!. Changed from 4 to 5 stars.

but is well made and easy to use
I have been using this rack pack now for a few weeks fitting on a compatible Ibera rack - I chose this over the other model that comes with a universal rack mount, because people complained in that one's reviews that it fell off. Not this one - the quick-release mechanism holds it securely onto the rack, and it is so convenient to carry the whole bag into the office etc. I have not used it in extensive rain, but seems at least showerproof. It works so well for me that I bought a spare - one of those products that I will regret in years to come if it is not available anymore. I have bike commuted for over 40 years mainly using a backpack, but using this rack pack is so liberating! The main compartment with top pocket is big enough for my daily commute to work, carrying spare clothes, lunch, cable lock, etc. When I go lunchtime shopping, the extending side pockets are really handy. The empty pack with compatible Ibera rack add about 2 kg weight to my bike, but is well made and easy to use!

Great clip on bag with pop-out pannier pockets for those unexpected extra items / purchases
It looks as though Ibera have withdrawn from the European market as this stuff is now hard (as of Spring 2016) to find anywhere else outside the US and Asia. This is a well made and strong bag. I really like it, and it clips on to both my Ibera racks (IB-RA5 and IB-RA1) in a second. The expandable pannier pockets are a great idea for those trips when you buy too much and need the overflow capacity. The only disadvantage with this over most of the others in the Ibera range is it doesn't come with it's own raincover (though the bottom of the bag is waterproof against splatter from below, the top is not). I bought the IB-BA1-RC raincover at the same time (also available at the time from the same Amazon seller) which fits perfectly. It's also nice looking, strong and a well designed item.

Pretty good carrying solution
I’ve been pretty pleased with this bag and the rack it connects to. It’s really well made and smartly constructed and has plenty of pockets for stuff. The main bag is very roomy - I carry a jumper, blazer and laptop (Surface Pro 4) in there and it fits fine. The pockets are then fine for phone, wallet, lights, power pack, cables etc. I bought it because I have a bike for cycle commuting that doesn’t have the fit points for a pannier rack. The main downsides of the Ibera system are that it is mounted much higher than a traditional pannier which makes bike handling a bit harder, and with only one mount point it is inevitable that it oscillates more than a pannier. However, those issues are relatively minor and certainly not the fault of the product - just the laws of physics :-) So, I feel these are good, sturdy, well made products and also feel like value for money

Brilliant
I use my pannier for cycling to work and back. It's not overly far but I work 12 hour shifts. There's is enough room in the bag for my dinner and tea. My uniform, phone, chargers, waterproofs, and all my tools for the bicycle. It has a good quality feel to it. The two side pockets open up and clip on to the pannier rack, becoming side bags giving you more space, and the top compartment extends too. Perfect for what I need it for

Fantastic for your daily commute.
Great bag with so many handy compartments! So easy to place on and take off the rack. Love the detachable shoulder strap which comes with it. Easily fits in my lunch bag, water bottle, uniform and toiletries.

I didn't think this system would work as well as it does the bag is so secure on the rack and so easy to remove. It's perfect ,fits all my shopping with room to spare. Can't think of a single thing that could improve this bag

Au bout de une année d'utilisation la base en plastique de la sacoche c'est complètement fissurée. le clip est sorti de son logement et il est impossible de leur fixer. dommage car hormis cette faiblesse le produit aurait pu correspondre à mon besoin.

This review is for an installation on a Mongoose 2.1 26" Mountain Bike using an Ibera IB-RA1 Rack. (First off, for anyone else who is curious about whether this bag will work with the IB-RA1 Seatpost-mounted Carrier; for the record it works well indeed even though the rack is not listed as compatible on Amazon or in the Ibera documentation.) I've been busy accessorizing a pair of Mongoose Mountain Bikes for Urban Warfare in and around Minneapolis and one of the requirements was a good rack/bag setup that didn't interfere with the independent rear suspension of the bike. And I wanted to be able to stuff a lot of, well, stuff, into a bag should the need arise. This bag fits the ticket well, with a large center storage section, expandable top compartment, expandable paniers on each side, and a small compartment in the back. It also comes with a shoulder strap and some elastic webbing on the top. Everything seems well constructed, seams seem well-sewn, zippers appear robust (once they have been used a little, like many nylon zippers at first they can be "sticky" until broken in a bit), and the fabric and materials look to be of good quality. The spring-loaded clip assembly for attaching to the rack is wonderful. One of the more pleasant surprises was how quickly my Wife and I could bike to the Local Famers Market, lock the bikes into a rack, unclip the bag from the bike and use it as a should bag for shopping. Very much a no-muss, no fuss arrangement and the bag will actually hold a surprising amount of food (I've had a watermelon in the main compartment already, which was not something originally on my "requirements" list for a bike bag). The panniers work well in this application, and even though there is no place to attach the pannier securing-straps to the frame of my bike (the straps would need to be about 4" longer to make it to the lower frame) I've found that even when pretty full, they don't interfere with the rear wheel of the bike. I do have a few gripes, but all of them are pretty minor: * $70 for a bike bag, even a good one like this, seems a bit steep. I've got a fully outfitted piece of airplane luggage that has traveled over 250K Miles and around the world twice that cost just $10 more and even though this bag is well made, I don't see it holding up nearly as well or as long. But since I would probably buy this bag again I guess it would be fair to say I think it is worth the cost somewhat pricey though it is. * I would love to see a better setup with the shoulder strap. Currently there is no real way to easily tuck the shoulder strap out of the way when the bag is clipped onto the Ibera Rack and one is in "bike mode". Right now I stuff it into the webbing on the top of the bag, which works, but not real well, and can be prone to falling out and then becoming a tangle risk for the rear wheel. However one of the real joys of this bag is being able to rapidly unclip the bag from the rack, sling it over one's shoulder, and quickly go on your merry way. Having to detach the shoulder strap and stuff it into one of the compartments severely hampers that ease-of-use. I just suspect that Ibera could come up with a clever solution here. * The plastic base is a glossy fake-carbon-fiber molded plastic and is exceptionally prone to scuffs and scratches. While it looks "cooler" than the textured-finish black plastic base on their smaller IB-BA6 bag (which I also own for my Wife's Bike) the base on that bag is holding up way better from a looks standpoint than the base on my IB-BA14. Because of those minor issues, the bag only gets a 4-star rating from me. But make no mistake, I do think that the Rack/Bag combo set that I have from Ibera is a great one and I almost certainly would buy it again. (9/29/2014 UPDATE) After further consideration I've bumped this review up to 5 stars. After having used this bag most of the summer and for well over 300 miles of biking I find that it has indeed been a great accessory. If it fits within your budget it definitely well worth having.
