What a collection...
The hammer drill was the most recent tool in the Skil 12v tool lineup that I bought. I did not think very highly of Skil. Don't get me wrong, I have a Skilsaw SPT-99 job site table saw that is easily the best in its class and woefully underappreciated, but I always considered Skiil and Skilsaw to be distant cousins at best. That was until a couple of years ago during he holidays and Skil was promoting their 12v lineup with $99 combos, 2 batteries, charger, and whatever the tool selection was. I had not yet invested in a cordless ecosystem, and I thought I would always be a Makita guy. But on a whim I think I got the one handed recip saw first and was very impressed with the build quality and operation. What was even better was the battery prices (2ah/~$30 and the 4ah/~$45) and the batteries also have built in USB to pull double duty as chargers for your devices. So a drill combo kit, oscillating saw, and circular saw later I needed a hammer drill for a project (light duty) and picked this up. It has the same build quality I have come to expect. It worked like a charm installing fasteners to brick surface. It has more juice than the drill driver that came with the combo kit, so it is a nice complement to have in the box. I have a really high opinion of the Skil lineup and have a couple of 20v tools on my list.

Los compro siempre que puedo, trabajo para proyectos de construcción y los recomiendo funcionan bien y compiten muy bien con otras marcas del mercado, lo exigimos mucho y funcionan apara obra pesada, su vida útil muy buena además tengo mi propio juego de talados de esta marca, siempre los recomiendo...

Product came with battery leaking black liquid. The chuck is sealed up. Completely not usable.

A little powerhouse
I was a little worried about it being only 12v but I've spent hours drilling anchors into concrete and it powers right along
