Slug Nematodes 12million (Treats 40sq.m)

I’ve been struggling with slugs in my garden for a while, and I decided to try the Slug Nematodes 12 million after reading good reviews. I’m so glad I did! These nematodes are a natural and eco-friendly way to tackle the slug problem without using harmful chemicals. The instructions were easy to follow, and application was straightforward—just mix with water and apply to the affected areas. I treated a 40 sqm section of my garden and saw noticeable improvements within a couple of weeks. The slugs seemed to disappear, and my plants are thriving again! I also appreciate that these nematodes are safe for pets and wildlife as I have cats and a tortoise raoming around, which was really important to me. It’s reassuring to know that I can control slugs without harming other creatures in my garden. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the results and will definitely be using this product again. Highly recommend it to anyone dealing with slugs in their garden!

This product worked well when initially used. Noticed lots of empty snail shells over the subsequent weeks and an absence of slugs. Making up the solution is easy. I recommend using a bucket for making the initial solution and transferring a watering can for diluting further. Something to note is that this will only remain active for about a month at best after used. You will also still need to go on night time patrol if you want the best outcome. It isn’t cheap, but for me it was worth using as we essentially had a snail farm in our garden before use.

I've been buying and using these for years. They are little microscopic slug assassin's. They can be a bit hit and miss with the batches but when they work, they work and you find empty snail shells and dried slugs all over the place. The great thing about these is that even when they don't kill the adult slimmy suckers they eat the lava so less slimmy adults in the future. They absolutely kill all slimmy suckers but you have to remember to water them on everything even grass, patios etc as the slimmy suckers live everywhere.

It washes away quickle

My garden has been inundated with slugs. Literally hundreds of them. I've tried beer traps which do work but emptying the container everyday is very unpleasant. I have hedgehogs live in my garden and lots of birds so slug pellets are a definite NO. I never thought Nematodes would work but my goodness they definitely do. Within a week my garden is literally clear of slugs. The product is really effective. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Application with a watering can couldn't be easier. I'm absolutely amazed. I'll certainly use nematodes again next year if I have a slug invasion.

I’m on my third year with these, and can’t praise them enough. Slug pellets are not particularly effective and kill wild life. We feed the birds , and Hedgehogs, so required a different , non toxic, solution. So, the first year we had the three stage programme. Not cheap. But not that much more than buying slug pellets all summer. Mix the powder according to the instructions, and water in. Water well afterwards (or do it in the evening before the rain) , and the job is done. Six weeks later repeat, and again six weeks after that. The first year we noticed that the results were slightly better than pellets, and the next year better again. This year virtually none. Brilliant . VERY well recommended. Beats pellets hands down. And better for pets, and wild life. Now if someone could just market something that works in keeping cats off the garden 😁

Was sceptical but wanted to try as I didn't want to use slug pellets. My veggies were being gobbled continuously by those nasty slugs. Followed the easy instructions. A day after using, although I did spot one or 2 slugs and a few nibble signs it's was a huge difference compared to the previous day. A week after using I hadn't seen any slugs in or around my vegetable patch. It's been around 2 weeks and now I'm not so worried about slugs. Aphid are now what I need to keep an eye on. Would it use these again? Yes absolutely. They are quite pricey but they do cover a decent area and work very quickly. Hopefully I won't need to use them again this growing season as by the time it's recommended to retreat, the veggies should be well established which hopefully won't attract too many slugs. But I am more than happy to buy again if and when I need to.
