Let's me track my cat when he's away from home
I bought this tracker for my cat. I have several cats that are primarily indoors but go out for periods of time during daylight hours. My other cats all stay nearby ( i can usually either see them or easily find them in my yard) and don't stay out too long. My one male cat (fixed) will wander farther and sometimes not come back for several hours and I wanted to know where he is hanging out. This tracker has done the job and I'm very pleased with it. It's small enough not to bother him or be difficult to put on his collar. The rechargeable battery does well and I've not had it run out while he has been out and about. He goes farther back into a wooded area near our neighborhood than I realized but is generally staying in the same area everyday which gives me piece of mind and I know I could go find him out there if I needed too.

Easy fit and comfort for my cat
The product tracks well. We do have poor cell service so that’s part of the problem. I’m disappointed the setting for home or safe place can’t be made smaller, which doesn’t allow me to see where my small cat is in our immediate large yard. If there is a way to change the size of home safe, that would be excellent!

NO LIVE customer support!
No live human customer support. Jiobit collar fell off inside "Trusted Place/Safe Zone". JIOBIT app does not allow you to turn on ringer to locate it inside 800 ft diameter Safe Zone! How the hell am I supposed to find it? This $130 tracker does NOT ALLOW YOU to find your JIOBIT inside Safe Zone/Trusted Place! You have to read useless and confusing written "Help" can't wait to find it to return this waste of money

A game changer, but annoying
The good:1. Can configure multiple geofenses.2. Multiple people can connect3. Will use WIFI which saves power4. Will use Bluetooth5. Can "ring" the device6. App shows location and location history7. Battery lasts several days when dog is insideThe bad:1. The device often disconnects at random times causing a false alarm. Trust me you will be annoyed when you get an alarm at 3am (any time of the day and sometimes multiple times in a very short time). Not only will your dog be near you, in an area with 5 bars of WIFI, and Bluetooth available.2. Sometimes there is a few minutes delay on being notified that your dog has left the geofence. You would think that once the device has lost WIFI and Bluetooth signal that it would alarm in a couple of seconds. Sometimes it does, sometimes it takes 30+ seconds. that's enough time for the dog to be in the street.3. Sometimes after you get an alarm, you can't enter "live" mode or "ring" the device because the app says that the device is in "power saving mode". This means your dog has left the geofence, the app has alarmed, yet sometimes the app shows the device is still at inside the geofence and sometimes outside the geofence.4. Sometimes the app will decide that only 1 person is in control. In my case I am the primary, and my wife is a "care team member". I've let the dogs out while she is asleep. Then one (or both) dogs leave the geofence. The issue is the app says the dogs are "with" my wife. This will prevent me from going "live" or "ringing" the dog.5. You can set a battery level notification level, which is great. I set both devices at 40% because when the device is outside of the geofence it uses much more battery. I don't want to risk having a dog wander into the woods, but the device battery goes dead before I find the dog. When the battery hits 40% I get notified, this could be in the morning or at a dog park. The issue is that 1 notification is all you get. I recharge the batteries at night because the dogs are inside. Between all of the false alarm notifications and what could be 16 hours between the notification and when I charge, it is easy to miss the alarm and/or forget about it. You will never get another warning. One time I let my dogs out in the morning, one left the geofence at which point I noticed the battery was at 1%.The app has 2 main map modes. The primary map shows about 5-7 acres. It shows buildings as with a grey background. It is usually fairly accurate. Right now both of our small dogs are in our king bed and you can guess that by the map. In thus mode, inside the geofence the battery will usually last about 4 days (drained to 40%)The other map is the "live" map that is supposed to show the dog's location in real time. Using this mode quickly drains the battery. Sometimes it is extremely accurate and quick to update, sometimes it isn't very accurate and delayed.Using WIFI and Bluetooth helps, usually. In fact Bluetooth connectivity is a huge selling point for me. When I take them camping a geofence isn't very helpful fence is a circle 100-800 foot radius. Plus many areas have limited or no cell service (the device will connect to their service via WIFI or cellular). A 100 foot radius is multiple campsites away. With Bluetooth I can monitor their location as long as they are within about 75-100 of my wife or I.Another is that there is no easy way to switch you contract term. It should be available on your profile. This device is a game changer. My dogs are learning that they can't get away with sneaking off. I've notice that they tend to watch for me when the leave (which is becoming more rare). Often, as soon as they see me walking towards them, they come home (sometimes running). If it wasn't for the frequent false alarms, the other issues aren't horrible. It is truly mind blowing when the device disconnects when the dog is 5 feet from a WIFI AP, laying at your feet and also connected via Bluetooth.I worked with their tech support, which did help enough that I bought a second unit. Unfortunately between the 2 dogs I'm getting over a dozen false alarms a day.

Battery has to be charged every 48-72 hours
I’ve had it for 8 months now, at first the charge would last up to 10 days the first several months and then it dropped to about a week and now it must be charged every two to three days. It’s not worth that hassle. I will find something simpler to replace it soon

Performance
This works very well, I particularly like the long battery life. And the ability to ding it via the app.

size is bigger than I thought it would be
I liked the product. Instructions were easy to follow. I use it for my cat. It's a little big for a cat, but it works

Does not show that it ever left the house!
Bought 2 trackers for our dogs. One Jiobit and one Tractive. The Tractive works well, the Jiobit seems to do nothing at all. Took the dogs for 2 walks, got a great map of where we went for the Tractive, the Jiobit history says it never left the Trusted place. I set the house radius at only 100 feet and walked approx 1/2 mile. Returning Jiobit today and purchasing another Tractive.
