Nice inexpensive kit for an absolute beginner to test the waters. Plenty of rings that were easy to work with. Only complaint would be that the color coating on the rings is easily scratched by tools, but it became easier to avoid that as I became more adept at the process. Lovely bracelet with great weight, feel, and look.

Comes in a ziplock baggie with heat sealed bags of jumprings. You will need a bent nose pilers, a flat or needle nose and tje smallest you can get. For laughs instruxtions say you can do finer with 2.5mm rings...bruh thats tiny. These are 3.5mm and small enough as it is. No mater what i do the color flakes off the copper wire. Such is life. Also the instructions are missing something as if you follow exact...the weave twists so your colors b and c are not always aligned like the one you just did. I am also 6 inches and 9 hrs into this mess of a weave. Let that soak in. I gave one as a gift. That person is 4 inches in, also twisted weave and 8 hrs in...the gift reciever is used to beadweaving and macrame. So both of us are missing something about step 8. Fun yet frustrating. Star knocked off for instruction issues.

Didn’t come in box as shown in the picture. However, I’ve ordered kits directly from the company and the contents in the box are packaged exactly the same way in a bag. It’s possible the company had kits with crushed or “ugly” boxes and removed them from the boxes and supplied them to Amazon for shipment.Keep in mind these are bracelets so the rings aren’t going to be big. If you’ve never done one of these kits before or you have large fingers, try one of this company’s box chain kits instead of this one. The rings are larger in those kits.Also, I had a question about ring size, so I messaged the company on Facebook and they responded in less than a day.

This is a nifty kit. I really wanted to learn chain maille and have been practicing opening and closing jump rings. Everything you need is included except for 2 pairs of chain nose pliers.The colours of the rings are great. The problem for me is that the rings are tiny. 3.5 mm. No one's 'fault' . I do a lot of various crafts but found that putting this together was just too nerve wracking. The rings are so small that the entire project became a torturous fiddly exercise.Too bad. Anyway I'm going to look for some project that takes bigger rings. This is NOT to knock the kit and I'm sure many other people have no issues with this, but for me, the rings were just too small, and after putting a few together I was ready to tear my hair out. Not relaxing at all.
