LG Have Done Themselves Proud!
I change phones very often, every 6-9 months or so. I bought this G3 for an upgrade from my Nexus 5.I liked the concept of vanilla Android on the Nexus devices however Google didn't include a removable battery or SD card slot on the Nexus 5. The lack of card slot didn't bother me, but the non-removable battery did. The G3 does all of those things.--Screen & Build Quality--The first thing that will impress you with the G3 is how thin it is - I mean this thing is super thin and light! It's not too light though that it feels cheap and flimsy. The build quality in my opinion is fantastic, and not plasticy feeling like every Samsung phone i've had. When I powered it up the screen looks amazing, so crisp and sharp fonts and colours - I have had AMOLED screens on phones in the past but I'd say the G3 screen is much better.--Battery--The downside I thought to this screen size and resolution (its QHD - 2560x1440) would be that it would just drain battery. It does a bit, but how much and how quickly depends on the brightness level you set. I have mine at 40% and Auto on and I have no problems the Auto brightness does the job very well. LG have thought out power management very well for this phone and it does a fantastic job! After the initial few charges the battery life is outlasting the Nexus 5 no end. From an 8am start with moderate use I'd expect battery to be at 30% by 5pm, however, the G3 stands at 68%. Stand by battery drain is almost non existent with this phone! Now obviously this will fluctuate day to day and how you use the phone, but remember the battery is removable, so if you needed to carrying around a spare would be easy enough! The phone supports wireless charging, I haven't tried this but I'm told you need to use the included travel adaptor for this to work due to the voltage rating being different for this phone.--Camera--Another reason for choosing the G3 was the laser focus camera - it sounded a good idea but also a gimmick. However its not a gimmick, it is incredibly fast at focusing and you can point and shoot in seconds (even though accessing the camera app isn't fast without a hardware button). Pictures are crisp and sharp and the zoom is also surprisingly good for a phone digital zoom function. I have noticed however that darker shots can take a few attempts to get a good shot, although this is more than likely a software issue and could be fixed with future updates.--Software--LG have always in my opinion had a reputation for making phones with clunky software - however the G3 software is excellent and no where near what they've been known for in the past. The software is fast and responsive, and i've noticed minimal lag - the only place is the pop up SMS notifications, they take a while to fully pop up sometimes. Dual window functionality is included and it works well, however I cannot see this being a feature I'll use all the time. Battery optimisation is powered by software, something which LG brag about. They have the right to brag - battery life and battery options are impressive on this phone, its one of few phones I've seen which includes an estimated battery life time in the software without installing another app.--Conclusion--Overall the G3 is the best phone I've ever owned and one I think I'll be keeping for a good while, the camera is the best I've witnessed on a smart phone and its battery life is great.UPDATEAfter just a week with the phone I've returned it for a replacement due to signal issues. The replacement phone has no issues connected to mobile network EE!

AVOID SELLER 'GoodDeal4U' AT ALL COSTS
Seller - 0/5This phone was advertised as UK phone, however after checking the IMEI number with LG themselves the have confirmed I was sent a South East Asian version of the phone. At the time I bought the phone it would not connect to 4G networks because of this and was often restarting itself. I messaged seller requesting a return however this was denied. I therefore messaged Amazon also, as the sale was backed by their 'A - Z guarantee' however they said I wasn't able to return the phone, despite it being not as described. I will now be going to Trading Standards as this phone was sold not as described which violates the Sales of Goods act. The seller all the while has been almost completely unresponsive and keeps saying they are only responsible for Manufacturer repairs for one year, which is completely irrelevant. I am disappointed with both the seller and Amazon in this case.Phone - 4/5I really do like the phone, especially the 4K screen which is bright and vivid. The performance is brilliant running very demanding apps with ease. I love the camera also, which takes stunning pictures and is capable of 4K video. The little features of this phone are what I like most about this phone, such as the IR blaster, the QI charging capability and the buttons being on the back.Whilst the phone has had a few problems, most have been solved with updates. I also had to buy a new battery as the previous one stopped holding charge, however LG sent this out to me free of charge so I cannot complain there.Overall, I would recommend you to avoid the seller 'GoodDeal4U' as I doubt they've ever heard of the term customer service, I am also disappointed with Amazon's response, but I really like the phone which is capable and fun to own.

LG G3 UK Sim-Free review
Excellent Mobile Phone. Having owned it for just over a week - I have to say I am so happy I purchased it. Although, the mobile can seem very large - it sits in the hand so well and comfortably. It does help when the bezel around the phone is minimal. I have been trying various mobiles out for size in the retail shops but, whereas other manufacturers (of similar spec. mobiles) opt for a slightly smaller screen and different case materials. The size of the actual devices do not differ to this LG G3. What sets this apart it, is that the touch and feel is great. LG have done a great job here. It's also a benefit that the Android System is minimalist and allows the owner to customise to their hearts content.Battery life, especially after a recent Software Upgrade (I think or it may be because, I downloaded a Virus/Security App) - has been very impressive. Considering, that I've used the Internet (not excessive, usually Play Store and Web Browsing), left the screen on a few times for long periods and general phone usage (calls, texting, etc.). The past week, I have only had to charge the phone once after the initial charge. I am impressed. Only time will tell, how well the battery performs over prolonged use.Although, viewing text messages first time when using the phone can seem quite slow. Once, you're in - it tends to speed up.Response in general is excellent. Having the quad processor allows many tasks to be available and run in the background. Good multi tasking.Oh, if you've not used or owned an LG G2 or LG G3 before, it may seem so different to have the power and volume buttons on the back. But, to my surprise, it doesn't take long to become familiar with this. In fact, it can become natural. Especially, that LG have cleverly shaped each button differently so you know what you're pressing. For example, I had it in my pocket and was listening to FM Radio. I was able to adjust the volume without taking the device out of my pocket. So far, this mobile has met my high expectations and reflects what other users and reviews have said (including winning numerous awards). Truly a remarkable mobile phone, which rightly stands next to it's competitors confidently and proudly. Then, walks past them knowing full well it is the total package and once people test it out, they tend to agree.
