Yankee Candle Large Jar Scented Candle, Crackling Wood Fire, Up to 150 Hours Burn Time, Glass, Grey, 10.7 x 10.7 x 16.8 cm

Yankee Candles are a bit on the pricier side, but the large jar lasts a long time and the smell fills the room so I feel like it makes up for it.One thing I would say is if you buy a medium/large jar, make sure you have the time to burn it for a decent period of time so the melted wax can even out. Otherwise, the candle won't melt properly (it will burn a hole down the middle with unmelted wax around the edge) which can be a bit wasteful.I would recommend this candle for people who like to cosy up by the fire. What would have made this candle even better is if it had a wooden wick so it would sound like 'Crackling Wood Fire' too!

Nice candle, smell has to build up, didn’t do anything for me the first time I lit it, but really enjoyed it once it got going!

The scent was very subtle at first. You need to be burning it for about an hour before the smell really become apparent. But from then on it smells great.

Not exactly what I expected but still smelt great.

Smells like how a hug feels. Borderline masculine scent. Autumn changing into Winter vibes. Comfort. Mildly intoxicating. The overall experience of this candle is like getting tipsy on a good red wine in an AirBnB Shepherd's Hut with someone you've been dating for 3 months, and you know it's going somewhere serious but you're still getting butterflies when they look into your eyes. There is definitely a soft blanket in this scenario. And candles. This candle, actually. My favourite of all the Yankee candle smells. I'll be honest, I purchased this during a migraine when I have low impulse control. Glad I did. Full discretion, I have a migraine as I'm writing this review.

I’m a huge fan of Yankee Candles but so far Crackling Wood Fire has to be my absolute favourite, and has been a popular choice with the rest of my household too. Really does smell like a lovely wood fire burning, adds a very cosy and comforting smell to a room. It’s also one of the strongest scented Yankee candles I’ve owned - I find that some don’t give off as much of a scent and others do - so it’s been a great buy. It’s almost burned out now after many weeks of burning so I’ll have to replace it shortly, but consider it a decent price given how much we all enjoy it!

I wouldn't say the scent matches the title, but very pleasant none the less.Good life on the candle. Arrived around New Year and is usually lit 3 or 4 times a week, always allowing it to burn for 3 to 4 hours each time. It's now into February and we still have around quarter to burn.In summary expensive but good candles with a nice scent.

Despite being delivered in a poorly fashioned cardboard box which didn't seem to fit the item so parcel was wrapped in excessive amounts of duct tape, the item was in pristine condition. No wear marks or cuts to the glass container. The candle itself served as a brilliant gift and smells a little sweeter than the wax melts but eventually mulls out. A very calming and pleasant scent, shame it's only a seasonal buy.

Sono appassionata di yankee.... ho comprato questa candela per regalarla a una mia amica ..... devo dire che è veramente buona ..... io non sono amante della cannella... ma in qu sta candela il profumo di cannella si percepisce appena ed è addirittura gradevole... ottima nel periodo invernale sia da appoggiare in bagno che in salotto.. arrivata con Amazon prime in un giorno .. top

Duftbeschreibung...ohjee... Irgendwie schon etwas holzig und rauchig, aber auch etwas süße Vanille rieche ich zuerst raus. Es handelt sich hier um einen etwas schwereren Duft. In unserem großen Wohnzimmer macht sich das aber sehr gut, vor allem, wenn es noch zu warm für den Ofen ist. Mein Mann steht eigentlich nicht so "auf dieses ganze Duftgedöns", diese Kerze zündet er jedoch freiwillig immer wieder an. ;)Ansonsten: gewohnt gute Yankee-Qualität, poolt gut, kam ohne Sprünge oder Schäden bei mir an, starke Duftentwicklung, dennoch keine Kopfschmerzen.Werde ich wieder bestellen und kann ich weiterempfehlen...allein schon für meinen Ehemann. *grins*

Da ich mittlerweile richtig Gefallen an Yankee Candle gefunden habe, habe ich diese Kerze als Weihnachtspräsent für eine gute Bekannte gekauft. Ich kannte den Duft vorher nicht, er klang aber so verlockend, dass ich ihn auf gut Glück gekauft habe. DIe Bekannte hat sich auch sehr darüber gefreut und wir haben die Kerze bei ihr testen dürfen. Der Duft der Kerze ist subtil rauchig mit Noten von verschiedenen Hölzern, etwas Vanille und Kräutern. Die Wohnung riecht danach nicht wie ein Stück geräucherter Schinken sondern hat eine angenehm leichte, süßlich-rauchige Note. Meiner Meinung nach bekommt man damit auch ohne Kamin ein heimeliges Kaminfeuerfeeling hin. Natürlich riechen Polster und Kleidung danach nicht nach Qualm :)Die Kerze kommt auch dieses Mal aus der Fabrik in Tschechien, nicht mehr direkt aus den USA. Qualitativ gibt es dabei keinen Unterschied aber eventuell ist dies für Sammler interessant.
