The "Handshop Flat Shoelaces" are exactly as described—the 5/16" width is perfect, and the material feels durable and high-quality. This is a small detail, and it worked out fine, but if you are debating between two lengths, I would recommend sizing up just to be safe. These beige laces are exactly what I needed. The color matched my sneakers perfectly and instantly gave them a fresh, upgraded look (just like in the picture).
