Honestly a game changer. This is amazing if you doing DIY or construction.You cannot use it around furniture due to the back spray, so is best used in revamp projects and not touch ups. Very easy to use and clean

If you’re looking for an airless paint sprayer then this is a really comprehensive unit for the money. It’s capable of spraying most paints, water-based, stains, varnish or enamels but you will need to vary the cleaning solution to suit your product each time.It does take some time to set up as the instructions are pretty detailed. There is a priming and cleaning process that must be followed to ensure the pump doesn’t clog up.It’s worth noting that you will need some paint kettles or buckets to decant your paint into and use in the cleaning process so make sure they are of suitable size! Also the instructions recommend using disposable paint strainers (not included) to ensure the paint does not have any debris.This USA product is well made and of a professional standard - just don’t expect to grab it and use it quickly, there’s a thorough process to be followed each time to ensure it’s maintained and serviceable.I wouldn’t recommend this to a DIY novice but an experienced DIY-er should be fine as would a tradesman for light commercial use, so long as you don’t exceed the 300lt a year limit.

Started spraying with this machine, worked ok for a while then started spitting, cleaned filters etc but felt the machine was struggling, very noisy I was expecting because it is Graco the noise level would be acceptable. build quality is ok but what I heard about Graco this feels bit cheap, it is definitely made for a couple of uses and looking at the pump replacement kits they are so overpriced.

This is a very nice looking portable unit made from excellent quality components. It arrived in a large & sturdy cardboard box with some maintenance fluid, a quick-start manual, power flush hose adapter and an owner's guide. The spray-gun and the hose are connected already but you do need to thread and tighten the hose onto the machine to get started which is all covered in the manual and quick start guide. The quick start guide includes several QR codes that link to visual demonstrations of the steps outlined in the guide for those that take information in better that way.You’ll need to grab a few large buckets to be used as separate flush & waste containers for startup and clean-up. You can also use a garden hose to aid in the clean-up of water-based materials but you can just as easily use the flush and wash buckets for both water and oil based paints. It's also more convenient than having to drag the machine outside full of paint and hook up the hose in my experience, though I imagine it works really well if you have a garden hose handy.Besides that you’re pretty much ready to go right out of the box after you take a bit to read the information supplied with the machine about using it. I’d really recommend reading the literature thoroughly a couple of times to get the process into your head before getting started as it's a lot to take in. The process for using water-based paints and oil-based ones are basically the same, but obviously they require different liquids to prime and clean the machine properly so don't skip the instructions or you’ll have problems.Obviously this isn’t the most ideal machine if you’re just looking for something to do an occasional bit of painting on single objects or small surfaces. The initial setup time investment is higher but it scales up to larger jobs extremely well and you can cover a ludicrous amount of surface area very quickly. All without having to worry about a massive air compressor that you’d typically need with a normal air based spraying gun. This legitimately turns a multi-hour job of painting a set of interior doors into one that takes minutes, especially if you’re using one-coat products.This machine does require additional setup and other considerations compared to other methods and you’ll need to factor in the cost of the PPE and materials for covering to deal with any of the overspray, though drop cloths are inexpensive and readily available. A respirator and some protective eye-wear would be the minimum considerations while using this in my opinion, though disposable gloves and old clothing are of course also a good idea.Once you’re comfortable with all the startup and clean-up processes this really is a nice way to get the work done, it's so much easier than manual painting and produces an excellent finish. The machine can be used with different accessories and specialised tips for all kinds of spraying applications around the house and garden.Graco does suggest this being used for medium-sized DIY use with an annual limit of 300L a year, but unless you’re redecorating the interior and exterior of a medium-sized house yearly I couldn’t see that suggested limit being much of a concern, but it is something to be aware of and it is mentioned in the product listing.If you can justify the expense of the machine and don't want to deal with a compressor based system this is an excellent product that is very versatile. I took to this unit particularly quickly because I'm used to spraying model kits with an airbrush, your experience may vary but I imagine it’ll be quick for most people to pick up. I can definitely recommend spending some time spraying water onto a disposable surface to build up muscle memory without wasting paint and you’ll be a pro in no time at all. Value wise it's hard to quantify, there aren’t that many airless systems of this size and capability readily available for DIYists. So your options are quite limited and Graco has a large ecosystem of parts and accessories for practically any task which makes it very appealing compared to the alternatives.

I’m not sure if I’m unlucky or if this is normal but this sprayer worked only for about 20-25 min and gave up during the work. The engeen was working but there was no pressure at all. Returned for refund. I won't buy it again and I don't recommend it.

This offers unbeatable coverage and is quicker than using a roller or brush, plus it gives a uniform, even coverage. The instructions are clear and easy to follow (download them as PDFs) and the priming process is straightforward. I really recommend you don't skip this part as it gets the machine ready to use and ensures you get the right end result.

I've used paint sprayers before that are HVLP based and hold the paint in a capsule attached to the trigger, this instead siphons the paint directly from the can and sends it to a very high quality gun, it clearly had the ability to change the tips for a spray pattern and does not require an air compressor to run, it's relatively quiet but the finish is just next level... anyone who hates painting will love it using this

Machine would not prime so returned. Amazon was excellent in returning my money.
