Royal Canin Sensitivity Control Cat Wet 12 x 100g - Chicken & Rice Pouch

I recently had to take one of my Bengals to the vet as they had gone off their food, which they had been eating since they were a kitten ( now 8 years old). The vet have the cat a full exam and suggested the cat may have developed a good sensitivity, as every time they tried eating they were sick. The vet have the cat an anti nausea injection, which the cat did not like, and recommended this food, royal canin sensitivity control Chicken and rice. It has a single protein recipe. We tried it for a week ( the supply that the vet provided) and the cat wolfed it down and ate every morsel and kept it down. The vet confirmed the cat can now stay on this food indefinitely. From the vet, a 12* 85g box costs £29.00. So I looked online, factoring in delivery charges, and as I have prime with free delivery on this product, buying here on Amazon was cheaper than elsewhere. The instructions say, for the cats weight, 2 sachets a day, which is expensive as there are only 12 sachets, so one box covers just 6 days, so it works out at £3.33 / day or roughly £100/ month rather than the is good they were on which is just £26 / month, however worth it if that is all the cat can eat. Some places offer a 48 * 85g pack which is a little cheaper, if you intend to purchase long term or have more cats needing it. Always check with your vet before changing a cats diet to make sure it is right for your cat and their dietary needs. Hope this is helpful.

This is a good item, as all Royal Canin products. It is a shame though that this product is advertised as being a pack of 12 pouches of 100g each. They are not. They are 85g each. So I didn't put 5 stars because the value for money is not great.

It’s brilliant when your cat has a poorly tummy, gets her back to normal Pooh’s, I highly recommend it.

Excellent product and always next day delivery just super !!

My main coon’s usual food started making her sick a lot so this was recommended by my vets and it transformed her over night. She was her old self again, no sick at all and back to running around and playing that she had not done as much and we had no idea her food was the issue. Highly Recommend this product, we use the biscuits in the same brand and type as well and she loves them both.

Ho acquistato il Royal Canin Veterinary Sensitivity Control per il gatto della mia collega, che mangiava solo queste scatolette su consiglio del veterinario. Si tratta di un alimento dietetico completo, perfetto per gatti con problematiche di sensibilità alimentare. La qualità è ottima, ed è stato ben accettato dal gatto, che ha mangiato con gusto. È una scelta consigliata da professionisti e, vista l'efficacia e l'appetibilità, credo che sia un'ottima soluzione per chi ha gatti con esigenze particolari.

Wegen einer Magen Darm Krankheit musste ich mit meinem Kater zum Tierarzt. Gastritis hat er sagte man mir und bekam eine Spritze. Dann hat man mir dieses Royal Canin Futter empfohlen und auch gleich aus seiner Praxis 4 Beutel zum probieren mitgegeben. Mein Kater ist was Futter betrifft etwas wählerisch. Er frisst keinen Fisch nur ganz selten und mit Huhn hat er überhaupt keine Probleme, das frisst er sehr gerne. Dieses Futter mundete ihm sehr gut das Tütchen war immer schnell geleert. Die Mischung aus Reis mit Huhn hat einen guten Geruch, wenn man die Beutel öffnet. Die Brecherei hat bei meinem Kater nachgelassen und auch der Darm beruhigte sich wieder. Da hat aber wohl die Cortison Spritze den größten Anteil daran zu Beginn. Ein gutes verträgliches Futter, welches man aber nicht unbedingt als ständiges Hauptnahrungsmittel verabreichen sollte, dafür ist es einfach auch zu teuer. Ich habe es nach 2 Monaten abgesetzt, weil er wieder richtig fit war. Zwischendurch bekommt er mal wieder einen Beutel Reis mit Huhn für seinen empfindlichen Magen. Empfehlenswertes schmackhaftes Tierfutter für Katzen mit empfindlichem Magen. Warum nur 3 Sterne, das ist der Preis.
