Great little incubator
Works really well, the humidity was maintained nicely and it’s such an easy top up. Egg turning automatically is great and I love the automatic stop to the turning when hatching nears. Avoid the cheap knock-offs, if you want a little incubator, go for this one.

The Brinsea Mini II advance is very easy to use and the videos on the brinsea website / youtube are an invaluable aid to getting started. although they may seem a bit "slow" they are very informative and helpful for the crucial times of the incubation. The ability to feed water through is well designed and the ability of the machine to turn the eggs makes the whole process as simple as possible. So far we have one clutch of copper marans and another on there way then some buff orpingtons and my grand daughter has her eyes on Polish Chicks so this device will definitely be kept busy. This was our first attempt at incubation but having spoken to a Brinsea person at a show as well as the support on line I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Good incubator
Did a lot of research and settled on this incubator. Got a good hatch, I did a dry hatch for Ayam Cemani’s so put a hygrometer in so I could keep it around 35 humidity, until the hatch date then I increased it to 60 humidity. Easy to clean afterwards ready for the next batch.

Would recommend this product
We brought a Mini 11 Advance Incubator for our 11 year old grandson who wanted to hatch eggs. We had previously tried to hatch eggs under a lamp with manual turning twice a day, but had no luck. Our first attempt with the incubator wasn't successful - no fault of the incubator - the eggs were just not fertile, but we waited three weeks to find this out! Our first job after that was to buy a candler and we then had another go with bantam eggs. We had a100% success rate. My grandson found the incubator very easy to use and set up and we learnt a lot from him, he knew all about pipping and lockdown from u tube and reading. The instruction manual was easy to follow. If you want to incubate eggs, based on our experience, I would recommend this product

Difficult to read the controls
Hatched my Guinea eggs ok. Had to supplement Brinsea directions (which are overly prescriptive, eg there is no need for humidity addition if living in UK) with advice off the web. The only really annoying thing is that this product does not have a backlight to read the controls.

GREAT LITTLE INCUBATOR.
I think it is a little expensive for what you get but after wasting money on cheaper versions I am happy to say that 5 out of 6 eggs are developing well after a week. Did think that when it was fully automatic would have come with light to show you if working or not but I suppose you cannot have everything.
