I'm a big fan of meal replacement shakes for weight loss. They make it easier to maintain a calorie deficit without counting every single calorie, all while giving you a nutritionally complete meal. Plus, they're quick to prepare when you're busy or just can't be bothered with a traditional lunch.This was my first try of Protein Works' offerings, I chose the 1kg Millionaire's Shortbread flavour during a sale instead of my usual Huel to test it out. It offered noticeably better value for money, and also a slightly lower calorie count per two-scoop serving (around 250 kcal compared to Huel's ~400 kcal per comparable serving), which I figured might be better for where I'm at with my diet right now.I'm genuinely very pleased with both the flavour and texture, it seems like a good quality powder to me. It mixes well in my Huel shaker (though not quite as well in my Shakesphere shaker, probably because it lacks a strainer). I don't notice much of a smell from the powder, it's quite subtle. The Millionaire's Shortbread taste definitely comes through, even if it has a slight oaty note, and it genuinely helps to satiate that craving for a sweet treat without actually being one. Of the two Protein Works flavours I've tried, the other being Caramel Macchiato, this is my favourite.I'd happily switch to this from Huel now. It offers better value per meal, especially when you catch it on sale, and tastes great.

Of all protein shakes, and I shake a lot of those, this one has the nicest consistency and taste. Mixes like a charm, total value for your buck and it keeps the hunger at bay, I take mine to work.Will definitely order more of these.

Fills you up just enough and have good flavors to choose from. Mixes well without the gritty taste.

The powder is heavy and takes a bit of mixing. I usually add a small amount of milk, then build it up into a paste, slowly until the whole amount is mixed.Once done the mixture is well mixed and becomes a wonderful, wholesome delicious and very filling shake. I've been so happy with them I've bought more.

I don’t expect products like this to taste like something I’d want to drink, so I got this flavour as a neutral base to add things.I just made this up with 3 ice cubes, 300ml almond milk and a teaspoon of matcha powder and it was delicious, genuinely.I can’t vouch for how well it shakes as I used a blender.I plan to try it with cinnamon, cocoa, coffee and also peanut butter powder. It’s pretty sweet so anything you add needs to be sugarless - but I’m pleased with this and hope it’ll keep me full enough to work out as a meal replacement. The nutrition in it is pretty decent too - it’s great to see it has a decent vitamin c content which is a supplement I need to take - looks like I can stop on the days I drink this, so I’m pleased so far.

Package arrived today, I made a shake but it came without a scoop, so I had to estimate from another scoop I had from another brand.The shake tasted quite well, but hard to know if I've had to much or not enough...

Recommend this product from a family member who is in strong man competitions. I told him I drive HGV’s and need to loose some weight . He checked around and sent me the link for this…I bought strawberries & crème and chocolate silk which is my favourite. I have one at 5am and one for lunch with a banana. They fill me up, not even interested in other food, just drink water till home in evening, for a light meal. I must say I have noticed that I have more energy, not sluggish at all and really enjoying these tasty thick shakes made with water and a couple of ice cubes! I’ve just ordered some more of my favourite flavour chocolate silk plus I like the fact that it has all the vitamins and minerals that your body needs with NO Aspartame sweetener BONUS. I’ve been taking these now for two weeks and started to see the benefits of taking this product, which I am really happy with. Thank you Protein Works. I will be buying this a recommending as it’s working for me.

This is the worst protein shake I’ve ever tasted. Even when mixed for a long time,it isn’t smooth,you can taste the bits and need to drink water along side it so it goes down. Not much of a taste to it either. It’s a shame I can’t send it back or I would have. The powder just settles at the bottom when leaving it.
