I have a 2yr old bashing into everything he can and it's still fine. The vibration and zizz when you press against something (like another blade) is a nice touch which the kids love. The batteries seem to be lasting agesI've had cheapo ones before and they are just as good really to a little boys eyes but the real ones are a much better gift. I wouldn't dream of buying these at full RRP but when they are discounted they are the better buy.Get your colours right. Bought the blue one and had to send it back as I thought it was defective, received the replacement and it was exactly the same.
