:) It came w clipper but still couldn't figure out what for. Probably a Chinese secret I threw away

Do you have to install a battery?

No!! Rechargeable battery comes installed and includes a charge cord that allows you to plug in as needed. This will arrive all ready to go and everything in place- do you do receive various heads and replacement blades but that’s into the future, if wanting to change and utilize. As for battery- they come in place and are not accessible even if you wanted.. hopefully this helps to answer your question- stay safe!

Can you buy new blade depth attachments?

Unfortunately, not that I am aware of.. we found ourselves in the same place as you- searching for a replacement! Verdict: after plenty of time investigating- the brand does not advertise a replacement piece of any kind. Set includes several universal attachments… none of which are an extra blade. Hoping this info. can save you time or help in your decision- stay safe!
