Knorr Salat Kronung Dill-Krauter (Salad Herbs and Dill), 5-Count Packets

I've been buying this stuff for years. Very easy way to make a quick cucumber salad, which is especially delicious in the summer. It's a product from Germany, so the directions are in German, but it's pretty easy. Just thinly slice a cucumber (I peel mine first), add one of these packets, then add 3 tablespoons of water and 3 tablespoons of oil (I use olive oil), and mix it together. Done. It's got a tangy dill flavor, which works well with cucumber. The package, which arrived the next day (for me), contains 5 packets. Pretty good deal...

This stuff is amazing. Sprinkled it on some fresh cucumber and it was delicious. Tangy, lots of dill flavor, not too salty, with a touch of heat on the finish. Will never go without this in my cupboard again.

These are delicious! They make a really easy meal out of cucumbers!

Perfect seasoning for German style cucumber salad.

I German friend gave me several packets of this item to put on my home grown cucumbers. I use this packet to make a vinaigrette and I also use it to make a creamy all purpose dressing for my garden salads by mixing with sour cream or Greek yogurt. I may add a little milk to thin the consistency if necessary. Everyone who has tried my creamy version eats every morsel of salad. It's so refreshing and delicious! Plus, you don't get all the junk additives you do with bottled dressings. I also use this as a marinade for chicken and beef.

Sooooo good. It’s a delicious dill dressing without super strong garlic like most dressings. Doesn’t make a whole lot but I add a teeny bit extra water for a runnier dressing and use on mixed greens. The remainder kept for a few days in the fridge. It’s a little like the seasoning for those dill kale salad mixes at Costco but without all the super salty stuff in it. Was so yummy that I had a bit of a panic that I only had four packs left and I would have to order more and it takes a month or so from overseas. It shipped right away by the next morning, and arrived a few weeks later. Will purchase again and looking forward to trying more spice/seasoning/ I can’t find here in Western Canada.
