Ideal as a messenger bag organiser
I generally carry a messenger bag with me, which contains face masks, hand sanitiser, shopping bag-for-life, a torch and any other annoying junk we seem to have to take on a simple walk to the pub.I long-ago gave up trying to find a bag which had enough pockets to keep everything organised, and instead bought a bag that was the right size and added a removable organiser. This laptop sleeve fits my bag as if it was made for it, and has a main compartment large enough for a laptop (obviously), or a large tablet. The side pockets hold my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, a power bank, my Kindle, a mousemat and all the associated cables – basically all my tech stuff should I need to work away from home. Like now, where I am incarcerated in my Mother-in-Law’s spare room over the ‘festive period’. Bah, Humbug. The sleeve is well made from a tough nylon fabric. It doesn’t offer a huge amount of protection on its own, but it’s perfect for my needs.

Pretty good for the money
A bit more snug on my 13" MacBook Pro than I expected.. but it DOES fit, the zippers are working fine so far (one of the complaints from other buyers)... and for less than £8, it is hard to complain. The pockets on the outside are great - helps keep things organized within my larger bag.. and makes switching my laptop & accessories from bag to bag a breeze.

Impractical, not the dimensions claimed or illustrated, poorly designed. Out of date.
Slightly different to what I was expecting. The A5 sizing is a bit unclear and, I feel that the picture of it with items illustrated is misleading, to say the least. This barely takes a notepad inside it when zipped up. So the overall bag is just over A5 size, but the contents (I bought this expecting it to take my page-a-day diary) need to be a little less. This is NOT how it is illustrated. The mobile phone pocket is designed for a very old Nokia size phone - it won't fit many modern smartphones - they are too long and so the flap won't velcro down to secure them. The pen place to the left hand side is also very 'tight'. It just takes one thin, modern, Biro-type pen, but not a fountain pen which are usually fatter. So, all in all, I can carry a few pieces of note paper, a few business cards, and my wallet, and that's about all. If you expected it to carry an A5 notepad, a diary, a paperback book even, then think again. It seems bizarre that an item that is considered an icon of modern design is so poor.

really useful and well designed
Wonderful organiser! I have one of these in this size a4, and another in a5, both set up as drawing sets ready to take with me anywhere. I can easily get a drawing pad, and all the pencils and other equipment I need in them I usually choose pencils I have used a bit, which are of course a little shorter, so that I can keep them in the Velcro closure pockets on the outside, and that keeps the pen holders free for pens with lids so that nothing gets marked in my bag. Usually I use this A4, size, as it's a better size for drawing paper, and fits well in my bag, but occasionally I need something less obtrusive and switch to the A5.These seem really well made, though I would prefer a sewn on tab on the zip head; I made some tabs with Sugru!

it's fine. The inside of it though has no pockets ...
There's nothing really wrong with this, it's fine. The inside of it though has no pockets or slots to keep anything in. And it's not the larger size - be aware that there are (at least) two different sizes. There's nothing functionally wrong with this, but it's not the one I actually intended to order. That's my fault though for not checking!

Very handy and multipurpose, well made and hard waring
I love these, I used them for so many different purposes, this one was to hold an LED Panel Light and accessories to then be put into a larger kit bag to transport to and from film sets and locations.I have others that hold by Sketchbook, pencils and fine liner and pocket watercolour paint set. Everybody wants to know where I got it. Took a while to arrive but I was told this on order.Well made, tough and very very handy for so many things.

This product is brown, not black.
Having ordered this and waited for it to arrive from overseas, I found that it was actually a very dark brown with a brown lining. I contacted the seller, who agreed to replace it without my having to return the original. Some days later, the replacement arrived- also brown. The case fits a Leuchtturm 1917 journal but the pockets on the front are small. Most pens have to be hooked over the edge of the back pocket, which doesn't have a covering flap, as they are too long to go in the covered front pocket. Pencils fall out of this pocket as they cannot be secured.
