Doctor Who 06294 10th Electronic Tardis Playset

Anybody that owned the original 2006 release of this product will be impressed that everything is the same. The console itself is the second version Character Options released, this features the green LEDs underneath the transparent plastic. I was amazed these are still being sold and I found the price quite reasonable. The construction of the set took about 20 minutes, it is a bit difficult as if you make a mistake the parts fit in quite tight so pulling it apart is a little difficult. The doors of the set still open out the wrong way to anyone that's wondering. Overall the set looks beautiful, the only real issue I found with the product that has been with every release of this product is the lack of card board to surround the entire back of the set, as only the section by the doors feature the golden background. Lovely set, packed with sound effects and lighting, recommend for children and adult collectors. This requires 4 AAx2 batteries that aren't included.

With an 11 year old whovian this was a perfect gift - i was impressed with the quality and scale of the product. It took about 15 minutes to put together and is a great back drop to imaginative play. If you have a Dr Who fan then this is a great gift

Bought this set for my 17 yr old who has autism ,she assures me - as a big whovian, that it's a good set and you can purchase many figures for it , it's a BIG set so be prepared to need a big place to put it and the top was a little fiddly to put on ,again no problems for the whovian, it seems fairly sturdy and has many details including lights .

This Tardis playset is "Fantastic"!!!! Since I already own the 11th Doctor's Tardis playset, I mistakenly thought this one would fit next to it on top of my dresser. I was so wrong, this thing is huge, it takes up most of my desk. I love the sound effects and the moving Time-Rotor and all the little details.

Best money I've spent in ages. Been played with every day since Christmas.

My 8 year old son is a massive Doctor Who fan, so although this seems a little pricey for what it is, he does absolutely love this set. It is a shame that the Dr Who figures come in different sizes; we had lots of the smaller ones, but had to start collecting the larger figures to go with this playset.
