Good quality replacement strap for Garmin Fenix 3
I shed a tear when my original Garmin Fenix 3 strap finally failed on me after about 6/7 years, but it had good run of it so I cannot complain. The official replacement Garmin strap was just an extortionate amount of money for what I needed, so when I saw this 2 pack on offer I jumped at the opportunity and bought 2 packs. The pack also includes the 2 star drivers needed to remove the bar from the watch which was a bonus, as none were supplied with the watch at the time of purchase. The quality of the strap seems good for the price, it's a little thinner, similar material but not as good as the original imo, but it's a good value replacement considering the cost difference. The buckle is metal, again not as good as the original and not removable like the original but it works just fine. Also the strap loop is plastic, its quite a tough plastic too not much flex in it and its a tight fit, so not sure how that will last, but again it works. As with anything like this, the proof of quality will be how long it lasts, and that is just an impossible question to speculate on at this time, but if I only get 1 or 2 years of daily usage then I think I will be very happy as I then have a further 4 to 8 years usage of the watch using the 4 straps, if the battery lasts that is. There are plenty of videos on how to remove the strap, it is awkward as you effectively need 3 hands. My advice get someone to secure the watch for you, it will make things much easier, then you just need control the screwdrivers. But if like me you do it yourself this is what worked for me. Lay the watch on a flat secure non slip surface, I placed it on a towel to protect the back too. Insert the left driver into the bar head and secure it against the watch with your thumb and middle finger, then using the same hand use your index finger onto the face of the watch to secure it in place. I found this the best hold to get the opposite lock needed on each side. Next insert the right driver, then applying enough pressure pushing both drivers together turn the right one anti clockwise, it needs a fair bit of force on both sides. Assuming all Garmin watches are assembled the same, the right side has the small screw, the left hand was the bar the width of the strap, be careful not to lose the small screw. The bar can be pushed through with the driver when the screw is removed. Installation is just the reverse. I wasn't sure about the red colour but it actually looks really good installed. Overall this is a 5* purchase, it is not perfect but the value is excellent and should last a while as a regular watch strap under normal conditions & usage.

Excellent and worthy replacement
I purchased this like so many others as my original strap had fallen apart, albeit after 2 years of use. Very supple and comfortable with no problems thus far (I've only just received tbh). Great price considering you get two straps, so if one does fail after a while I'll have a backup. The red coloured strap is just like the original, which is my preferred choice. Normally I'm a little sceptical about buying low cost - buy nice, pay twice I always say- but the original is WAY too expensive for what it is. Came with the tools which did the job nicely, if I remember I'll post an update on how well the strap has weathered. (12.7.2019) Update. Ok I've been wearing the red strap now since I last wrote this review and it's held up really well. I wear my Fenix 3 all the time for work etc and there's not a tear or mark on the strap. Even the buckle that holds the strap in place is as good as new, which was the one part I thought would fail first. Definitely worth 5 stars, sorry Garmin but you've got to stop taking your customers for granted.

Very good quality
I've just bought the band. Very soft and comfortable. There is a very slight difference in the black color of the band and the watch. But really slight. The band is coming with 2 screwdrivers. The replacement took 1 min.

Great strap. Great price. Will buy again.
Update: I've had this strap for 6 months now and used it daily. I've found it to be really good and it is proving to be durable. I also use this with a garmin bike mount - that allows you to strap your watch to the handlebars. I find that the flexible strap can be stretched to give a nice tight fit on the handlebars. I've now increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Original review: After reading the reviews, I took a punt on this strap. At this price, there's not a lot to lose. Yes, the material is thinner, but it's a nice flexible silicone. More comfortable than the original Garmin. I've also found the retaining strap to be fine. Some people have complained that it moves and that the end of the strap flaps around. I haven't had this problem. I can't comment on durability, since I've only been using it for a week. But so far all is good. The original Garmin straps are not very durable. At this price you can afford a replacement more often if you need it. Overall, I'm very pleased with the strap.

Prefer these over the official Garmin straps
These are a a quarter of the price of an official Garmin strap, and you get two of them! The material is different. It's much softer, which I find more comfortable too. The red matches the red in the watch face and the black is a stylish matt. The clasps are of a good quality and the strap holder is robust hard plastic and effectively a copy of the original design. Fitting took less than 5 minutes (to a Fenix 3) and two tools are included (which are used against each other) to remove the screw and rod from the watch. It doesn't come with spare rods or screws, so don't lose them. *** Pros *** - Fantastic value - Great quality - Two straps - Two tools - Easy to fit - Pleasing appearance - Very comfortable *** Cons *** - Not official Overall, I'm glad I bought these over the official Garmin options.

Strap split within just 2 months of receiving!
I bought this strap for my Garmin Fenix 3 Watch, because the original strap had finally split either side of one of the Lugs / holes designed in the strap after 3 years of quite hard wearing! This new strap looked decent and came with fixing tools, and reasonable reviews. I changed the strap over, no issues whatsoever. I wore it straight away and it felt comfortable and exactly how it should do. Great so far!! Then... after about 6 weeks of use (not continuous) and definitely not really hard wearing - eg I had not done any triathlons in this period and was not wearing it 24/7... I looked down at the Watch one day and oooooops!! The strap had split - both sides of one if the Lugs/ holes designed in the strap. Before I could do much about it, it split entirely and fell into the sleeve of my wrist (thankfully). So now I’m back to square one and wasted my money on this strap. Do I have a defect? Am I unlucky with this one? Then if that is the case, please send me a new one!

Excellent replacement for the original
A great price for two replacement bands. These were bought after the original started to split after about 18 months (which seems common). These bands are great replacements - identical design but in a softer, more flexible material. It's fun to have a colour in there (I got the red) and at a fraction of the official Garmin price I'm very happy. Product comes with two posi-drives to remove the spring bars. Note that, unlike some replacement band packages, this does not come with replacement spring bars (which is no problem given that you already have some...) Edit: score reduced to four stars on noting that the clasp appears to be plastic unlike the really nice metal clasp of the original. Makes for a cheaper finish, but the comfort of the band overall is rather better probably.
