Works great!
I will admit, I was hesitant because the reviews are mixed but I decided to take a chance. I then kinda dreaded the install because I figured it would be difficult. It was not too difficult. I fished the cable that goes to the front of the vehicle with a wire and then pulled the cable through with minimal interior plastic removal. The ground had a terminal already attached to ground to the chassis. The power had a fuse insert I was able to plug into a vacant spot in my fuse block that had power when I turned the key on. Soldered and heat shrinked the left turn signal wire, right turn signal wire and reverse wire at the rear. I decided to tape the sensors on the inside of the rear bumper cover. I cleaned the inside of the bumper with brake cleaner and used 3M automotive double faced tape. I have used this before on car door moldings and it is very strong so I think this will hold well. I placed the warning lights right at the pillars and they are bright enough. Took a test drive and it worked perfectly. I could see the passing vehicle coming in my side mirror, just before it went into my blind spot the light came on and then stayed on until I could see it to my with my peripheral vision. The passenger side worked just the same. I am very pleased with this purchase and the performance of this system.

Good but needs mod for my car
Works well, however in 2018 malibu brake and blinker share the same wire, resulting in beeps when passed at stop light. Going to use a nc relay controlled by the brake to disable the buzzer when the brake is pushed.

Waaay to complicated to install.
My mechanic, who installs engines and rebuilds transmissions, wouldn't touch it. Quick refund, though.

Performs as listed
First, thank you to everyone who adds comment reviews; as a consumer, I find them very helpful. The sensors have been installed for over a week and have performed as listed. I'm giving it a 5-star rating due to the inexpensive cost of the product. As many other reviewers commented on the alarm sensor it can be annoying with the beeping due to heavy traffic. I will probably do what others have done by disconnecting the alarm (the nice part is you can unplug the alarm without sniping the wires). I installed it on my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and found that I didn't need the sensor brackets as the rear bumper was already at a 20-degree angle. The system I found very easy to install. However, patience is required. Plan on about 4 to 5 hours to install, depending on how anal you are about making it look factory installed. Helpful accessories I found to make the installation easier, spend the extra $20 and purchase the Fuse Adapter, T Tap Wire Connectors, and molding tool remover.

Works Much Better than Expected
I installed this system into my FJ Cruiser. My expectations were not that high but this really seems to work well so far. It picks up cars as they come into your blind spot. I saw one comment that the system doesn't activate when you are passing cars and then they go into your blind spot which for me is a plus. When I pass a car I know it's going into my blind spot. I only want notifications when a car drives into my blind spot from the rear, which this system does. I didn't install the audible alarm because that would just get annoying. Installation does require some experience working on cars. If needed I am sure any good automotive audio/video installer would take on this installation. I would say it's about a 3 to 4 hour job. The price is good and for now I do recommend this product.

Bracket not functional
The sensors have sticky tape for bumpers. The L bracket requires installer to glue on sensor. These sensors would not swivel to refine angle. No picture showing installation of bracket. Installation for bracket on separate page of paper.

No bad I don't understand the bad reviews...
This BSM works great for the price ...I don't understand what people are talking About. I install it and it is working just fine I did had to set it to 22 degrees that may just be my vehicle to get it work right .. but other then that it works like a charm... no false reading and no Alarm sound it only makes a sound when your turn signal is on. And somone is in there blind spot. But it is only a ding for a 2 sec and that is it.. I think the people that commented bad is people that did not install it right ....

Beeps all the time
This product is awful. It beeps all the time when you pass a car or a tree or a sign. If cars are passing you. In the description of the product I didn't see anywhere where it says that an alarm would sound. It just said it would light up. Do not buy this. It cost 650 dollars to install and now it's beeping and beeping. If anyone knows if the beeping can be disabled please let me know.

I paid a fortune to get it installed at the original new car dealership from a professional. It doesn’t work at all and it’s very complicated to install. I’ve asked for money back, but I haven’t heard anything yet. Avoid avoid avoid.
