I think these are one of the best multivitamins for kids out there!! Not cheap but when it comes to vitamins you shouldn’t get cheap, I think so anyway! My kids love them now, it took them some getting used to as it has a funny after taste! I now give them a vitamin D spray straight after as it’s minty!! They rarely get colds now and I put it down to these!!

These just arrived and we couldn’t wait to try them. We love them! Other reviewers mentioned that the nutritional label was different on the product compared to the one posted online. They were also upset that there weren’t 500 iu of vitamin D as advertised. While it is true that the nutritional label is different, a quick google search shows that these contain 520 iu of vitamin D. The label shows it in ug (microgram) rather than iu (international unit) but using an online converter is quick and easy. As for the awful taste people reported, I can’t agree. These taste like vitamins. They don’t tastes like skittles but I wouldn’t want them to. If you’re looking for a great vitamin, this is it! So pleased we found these.

I have purchased these vitamins for a while for a selective eater. They have gone through phases of not liking them, but on the whole they have been a success. The texture is powdery once chewed and the flavour is quite strong, they do need to be washed down well with a drink. I've tried them and I don't find them unpleasant, but can see why they wouldn't be to everyone's taste. We previously purchased the mixed flavour jar, but the cherry was preferred so very glad individual flavours can be ordered.

My son loves these and they are a really comprehensive vitamin / mineral supplement, however the product information labels shown in the photos are different. I chose these thinking they had calcium and magnesium as in the close up image, however they don’t. Anyone know which product the last photo of the label refers to?!

I did a lot of research on vitamins before deciding on Animal Parade. This seems to be one of the only brands that is all natural and is free from sugar, artificial colors, preservatives, yeast, wheat, soy and milk!!! My son didn't like the taste at all. He spitted it the first time and never tried again. I am using it just to justify the price. I am sure it's a good supplement but weird taste really. Edit a year later: My son hated the taste of it when we first tried and I left a review about it. Then 3 months later I tried again and he loved it. He has been taking them for more than a year now and he is not getting sick as much anymore. It can be him growing immunity but I am pretty sure they help, especially with the probiotics in it.

DO NOT GIVE TO YOUR CHILDREN, when comparing a child daily recommended amount these vitamins compare to that of an adult and are tripe the daily amounts. Given daily will cause damage. I had no idea when giving to my child and feel so disappointed in the company

It's great to find a children's chewable sweetened with xylitol instead of sugar. Xylitol is good for the teeth and gums. My nine-year-old son eats the orange flavor every day. He's not crazy about the taste, but he says it's OK. The nutrients and potency are good.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Produkt, zumal ich ewig auf der Suche nach einem Multivitamin Präparat für meine drei Kinder war, dass vegan ist und vor allem keinen Zucker oder Süßstoff enthält! On Top enthält dieses Produkt nicht nur alle lebensnotwendigen Vitamine, Mineralstoffe und Spurenelemente in super guter Dosierung, sondern zugleich auch die erforderliche Menge an Probiotika! Beispiel: Vor fünf Tagen kam der Kleinste mit einer Magen-Darm-Grippe aus dem Kindergarten heim, er musste sich dank der Vitamine im Gegensatz zu sonst nur einmal übergeben und war danach sofort wieder fit. Meine zwei anderen Kinder haben sich nicht wie sonst angesteckt, fühlten einen Tag später lediglich leichte Bauchschmerzen und ein bisschen Kreislauf. Und das, obwohl um uns herum gefühlt die halbe Stadt grad flach liegt! Auch sonst merke ich einen klaren Unterschied im Immunsystem meiner Kinder, seit dem sie diese Vitamine nehmen. Zum Geschmack: Ich finde ihn super lecker nach Kirsche und Dank dem Xylitol (= super gesunder Birkenzucker) angenehm süß! Nur wenn man man das Produkt komplett lutscht, verliert es ganz zum Schluss den Fruchgeschmack und schmeckt ein bisschen pappig. Deshalb lutschen wir kurz an und kauen dann... ; ) Meine zwei Jungs mit vier und sieben Jahren muss ich manchmal ein bisschen überreden, aber sie nehmen sie anstandslos! Für meine Tochter (13 Jahre alt) ist es geschmacklich das beste Vitamipräparat der Welt! *smile* Im Vergleich mit den synthetischen Produkten die auf dem Markt sind, selbst den natürlichen, welche doch alle in irgendeiner Form Zucker enthalten, und das dann meistens auch noch an erster Stelle, ist dies Produkt mit Abstand meine erste Wahl! Was will ich mit einem Multivitaminpräparat, das Dank dem enthaltenen Zucker der Darmflora meiner Kinder letztlich mehr schadet, als nutzt?

One of the best Children's Multi-Vitamin's available, and the price is right. Are there cheaper alternatives? Sure. But are there cheaper alternatives that pack this much nutrition? Not that I have found. I worked for a few years at a Health and Nutrition store so I know what to look for in a quality multi-vitamin, and Nature's Plus has put together a great product. The flavors the vitamins come in are cherry, orange, and grape. They come in a few different animal shapes (lions, tigers, elephants, and hippos, I believe). My 3 kids love when they get them each morning, and have never complained about the taste. Plus they are sweetened with Xylitol which doesn't add sugar to their diet and which is actually great for your teeth (though don't give it to the dog). I was especially pleased to see they included a good amount of the better Vitamin D (D3) rather than what many cheaper alternatives use (D2). They also included K2, which is rare in a children's multi. And it has probiotic and superfoods in addition to the vitamins and minerals! I do wish they would have used methylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin for the B12, but nothing can be perfect. Try this multi out for your kids, they are sure to love it!

I got these for my two year old son, to make sure he is getting all the nutrients he needs. We were originally using a different brand, but thought we would try something new. He really likes these vitamins, and actually asks for them each evening. He even tries to get extras in the morning. He seems to like the taste (though, honestly, I was not a huge fan myself, it tasted slightly metallic to me). They are a nice small size, so it is not too much for him to chew. He has been on them for about a month now, and I have noticed him getting slightly less sick at daycare. I am not sure if this is a coincidence, or if it is because of the switch in vitamins. My son also likes that there are a variety of animal shapes, which we can use to help with "what sound does a ..... make". Overall, we will most likely purchase these again once the first bottle runs out. Amazon's "Verified Purchase" indicator shows that this review matches an actual product ordered and delivered from Amazon.
