Great boots
These boots are great, really comfortable and not too narrow so plenty of room in the toe box unlike others I’ve tried. Very happy with the purchase, yet to wear them in the rain but I’m sure they will hold up fine.

Comfortable roomy - Northwest territory ladies victoria walking boots
Nice boots and fit, I'm a size 4 and have an arthritic big toe joint at the base of the toe so the joint is slightly enlarged, the trouble I have finding trainers or walking shoes that are not too tight around that area it's a nightmare, we enjoy a lot of hiking, also I find my little toe tend to get crushed and I end up with a blister. I have measured my foot across the widest part underneath my foot I stood on a measure tape, so from one side to the other is 10cm, measuring around the widest part going over the bad joint is about 24cm , the length of my foot tip of big toe toe back of heal is 23.5cm, these boots don't squash any of my toes , usually after one and a half to two hours my joint and little toe hurts BUT I have done two 2hr walks and all seems fine, it's nice to find a shoe with a decent width, the ankle is comfy and supportive, measuring inside from the foot bed straight up where back of the ankle is -is about 8cm high, the side ankle height inside is about 12cm. I walked through wet grass and the water just beaded up and rolled off , apart from a little sweating my foot was quite dry, I gave 4 stars because I haven't had them long enough and I don't think they would be a 100% waterproof , but that's my opinion and time will tell. I am very happy with these boots especially the fit, have found them comfy with a thin sock and a thicker but haven't tried chunky sock.

Just the job
Happy days, they arrived before time, many thanks :) I liked the look of these boots, so read the reviews, impressed, so I went ahead and ordered, glad I did. They're a really nice looking boot and comfortable, after opening up the laces my foot just slipped into them. They are a firm boot but after two days wear and tear in the field, walking through dewy grass, that's all there is at the moment due to the weather, my feet stayed dry, they have softened up nicely. I will be treating to keep them resilient and clean. I take a size 5 and don't wear thick boot socks, just a nice soft fine meshed sock for comfort. My foot at the widest part is twenty two and a half cm's, for me, these boots are a good fit. If, however you do like thick socks I would recommend size 6, for max comfort. I have mine on all day, at the moment, and find they support my ankles a treat. Feet stay dry all day and its really hot at the moment. A very nice boot.

Comfort & Dry feet!
Ordered in a Size 5, found them to be a good fit, roomy without sliding around. Width is good - I have wide feet so I would say these are definitely a D width fitting. I have worn walking socks with them. They arrived well packed, and 2 days earlier than anticipated which was a bonus as we were able to go walking in the snow. The grip was excellent and they felt reasonably flexible for a first time wearing. Nice colouring, and the usual laces through triangular eyelets. Hopefully the eyelets are strong enough to take the pulling on the laces to get a snug fit. The 'collar' of the boot is supportive and although a little stiff at the moment am sure it will soften with each wearing - not uncomfortable, but definitely firmer than my previous walking boots. We go over a mixture of road, farm track and field and they coped with all terrains. Feet were dry and warm which was the main reason for purchasing, and also to have ankle support to limit any injury on rough tracks. So after 2 weeks of use, almost every day they are a good purchase. Hopefully they will last - will update on that!

Really comfortable boot
This boot was superb at first. Really comfortable and waterproof and light too. Sadly after 5 months the left boot started to leak very badly. Only worn now for dry walks because they are very comfortable. Shame really, thought I'd cracked it.

Worst boots I ever bought!!
I have bought this brand of boot several times in the past and I am totally disappointed with this pair. They look ok but I have found them very uncomfortable around the heel. However, I was willing to give them time to break in. As others have said the laces are far too short. I wore them for the third time today walking my dog. I went into a field. The grass was not long but it was wet. I was in the field about 20 minutes and my feet were soaked. SO MUCH FOR BEING WATERPROOF. I am now stuck with boots not fit for anything, only being pitched into the bin. People cannot afford to throw money away like this and saying as they have been worn I am sure it is past getting a refund. BEWARE!!

Really supportive and comfortable
Really good quality, works well, supportive and comfortable definitely waterproof unfortunately the lacing up part is hard - somehow it doesn’t feel tight enough and it hurts when you try to tighten the laces and leaves burn marks on your fingers - not been designed with disability in mind (aka lack of grip in fingers or the difficulty of navigating around wrist compression braces - unable to change over to elastic laces).
