Great Product!
Using this kit, I was able to do an excellent repair of a chipped quartz countertop edge. I like the fact that the simple tools and proper sandpaper was included. A few tips: Make sure that the colors included will match your stone. Mine counter is grey, so a toothpick tip of black, mixed into the white resin mix got me close. Then I tweaked it by adding a little more white resin mix. If possible, obtain a sample square of your stone to practice on. I cut a few nicks into the sample with a chisel for practice. Also, working on the practice piece can make it easier to obtain a perfect color match. When you finally put the colored resin mix in the countertop chip, let it dry overnight. Mine was not quite ready after only four hours. This will ensure smooth sanding. Watch a couple instructional videos available online.

Black countertops
Ok this product works very well just follow directions…BUT if you have a black countertop, note if you sand the epoxy, you won’t be able to get it black. Sanding it makes it lighter. So I scraped mine off and tried again. After about 30 minutes to an hour it should still be moldable. I used various things paper towels, paint brushes, knife, etc to get the texture I wanted without sanding and then let it finish drying. I did not sand it and it remained the color I mixed. However fyi it will dry glossy. Be very patient and meticulous. I think it turned out well and is actually even less obvious in person. My countertop is Neolith.

Works well but not for white
We discovered a manufacturing cut mark on the edge of our countertop. Not a huge deal, but enough to want it fixed. Purchased this kit and gave it a go. The only problem I have is that when you sand it, it changes the color to the color of the sandpaper even after allowing it to dry overnight. I did this repair at least three times. Apply, get a nice match, wet sand, dry sand, 2000 grit, etc. the color always changed. Thankfully it’s not a pure white top, it’s got some graining. It sure isn’t perfect, but it’s smooth and anyone other an us may never spot it. Still, a bit irritating.

Great product!
Despite some reviews of not getting hard or hard to work with I thought I would try this product anyway because I had a feeling, like other epoxy products if you don’t mix exactly, you will have problems. Either too much hardener, its tough to work with, not enough and it doesn’t set! I measured out these products with a 1/4 teaspoon, one scoop of each. It’s important not to eyeball this if your not a professional. It mixed up well and was easy to match my grey counter top color. Before hand I did tape the area off as to not create more sanding then I needed to. It was easy to apply and I got a good 15 minutes of workable product. As for drying, it says 4 hours but you must take into consideration temperature and humidity in your house. After 4 hours mine was set enough to remove the tape and I was able to use a straight edge to remove the little residual spots but it was still soft, just not gooey. I started yesterday at 3:00 pm, removed the tape at 7:00 pm and by morning it was rock hard. If you do this correctly and put the extra time into it it will work like a charm!! Im completely satisfied with this product and the outcome!!

Under no circumstances buy this producy
Absolutely the worst product to use. If I could give this "no stars" I would. The two part epoxy is white so forget getting a black, with some effort you might get a dark gray. To mix small amounts you have to guess what a 1 to 1 ratio is and you'll get it wrong which means it will not harden correctly or will not adhere correctly. I'm sure there is a third option but I gave up. I don't even want to go through what it takes to mix correctly. Be sure you have Goof-Off or some similar product on hand to clean up the mess you will make. A complete waste of time, money and energy.

Perfect. Be methodical with prep work.
Had a small piece off the edge of our quartz counter broken from being hit by a heavy metal object. Things looked grim. I figured this surely couldn't make it look worse. I was able to slowly get a color match before applying it carefully and pushing/flattening the resin into place. Proper prep work of thoroughly cleaning the area with alcohol is essential to avoid adhesion issues that some of the folks here complain about but didn't realize were self-created issues.Waited 48 hours then sanded it all down beginning with 600 then 1000 grit. The result was astonishing. I've attached a picture which shows what the counter looks like now. Truly, unless you're looking at it with a magnifying glass from 2 inches away, you can't tell anything ever happened. So very pleased. One tip: use masking tape religiously to minimize resin touching any spot unintended. This makes blending much easier. Be patient and careful with the sanding as well. Also underline the statement of a little going A LONG WAY with the color. It's much easier to darken then lighten your color so whatever color you think, start with only a third the amount. For context I used 1mm length of black to get a dark gray with the white resin on a half teaspoons worth of resin.

Exactly what it says it is
Bought this to fill a seam between two pieces of quartz. Worked exactly as stated except it took probably 6 hours to fully harden. The untinted epoxy is bright pure white. I probably should have added a drop of black to more closely match my off-white Carrara quartz. Before warned though, a little color goes a long way.
