My old camera looked like it had cataracts. This was a perfect replacement. Plugged right up and now my backup camera is clear. Not cloudy anymore.

I have a car without a back up camera and I'm a terrible driver, so I bought this. Hooked it up, it was easy and works really well. No accidents since!!

Was able to fit it into the stock tailgate latch. Pulled out the dead stock camera from screws and wired this one in. Had to modify the plastic slightly, but it is easy with a drimel or drill. Fit onto a 2008 gmc sierra 1500

I couldn't tell you if it's the actual item or if they sent me the wrong item it looks like the picture however it finally says in the instructions that if it's the CMOS one which is what it says on mine is that it's 688 by 422. So it's not 1080. I verified by hooking it up to a high-definition picture. Definitely not. The night vision is not night vision because it uses white LEDs 24/7 whenever it's hooked up there are no ultraviolet LEDs in there or infrared like typical cameras and there's also no sensor to turn it on and off so it will wash out in the bright daylight.I gave it one star because it actually does function as a backup camera if you hook it up you're just going to get worse resolution and it will be washed out in the daylight I'm returning it right now this is the third one I bought each one of them has had a problem.
